A note from the editor:
We started The Selladore to give the girls of this school an opportunity to regain control over language, to facilitate independent expression where there might exist passivity. The objective in creating The Selladore webpages were to provide an interactive platform for evoking creative inspiration and the sharing of art work, and to provide an active forum for the articulation of the student voice. These pages will allow for engagement in current global issues, allow interactive dialogue for students, and function as a historical record for past issues. We ask simply that you view this work with an open mind, an open heart and with the understanding that, should you choose to express yourself as well, we will be waiting patiently for your submissions.
