CLASS OF 2021 The over 600 members of the Class of 2021 participated in an intimate, in-person outdoor graduation ceremonies with their families and peers.

STUDENT ADVENTURES IN LITERATURE THAATHWIK ARSHA ABHILASH | burleigh Thaathwik took time during the pandemic to write and publish the first in a series of children’s adventure novels, Dragon Summer.

JANAVI WAGLE | pilgrim park Janavi compiled an impressive and expansive book list entitled My book list that helped me survive 2020 for local blog, Our Sunday Project. Wagle's list includes 31 award-winning young adult books and was nationally recognized by several of the authors featured on her list.

BRIGHT LIGHTS The pandemic didn’t stop our students’ talents from shining bright! Theatre students performed in masks and to virtual and in-person audiences. In addition, our band, orchestra, and choir students recorded individual performances that were then combined into a group production collage. The fantastic lengths to which our students and staff kept the arts alive and thriving is nothing short of remarkable.

Shilpa published a children's picture book that she wrote and illustrated entitled Ruby and the Case of the Corona Monster. The book tackles overcoming the fear of the unknown from a child's perspective regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

SCIENCE BOWL NATIONAL RUNNER-UP Elmbrook Summer Theater | Grease

In February, the Wisconsin Hills Middle Team of Kartik Ramachandrula, Josh Wang, Vaidehi Ramachandrula, Matthew Wang, and Saathvik Gowda won their regional competition for the 2021 National Science Bowl (NSB).

They advanced on to the Virtual National Science Bowl finals in May where they competed against 44 of the top middle schools across the country and finished in second place.

The Elmbrook Summer Theater consists of students from Pilgrim Park Middle School, Wisconsin Hills Middle School, Brookfield Central High School and Brookfield East High School.

NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARS Recognition for this achievement is based on a student's performance on the PSAT exam and rank among the best in Wisconsin and the United States. These 12 students scored in the top 16,000 out of the 1.5 million students who took the PSAT and represent less than 1% of United States high school seniors according to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

BROOKFIELD CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL On October 13th, the Brookfield Central Girls Golf Team took home the Division 1 State Championship. The team has had ten straight WIAA state tournament appearances.

BROOKFIELD EAST HIGH SCHOOL On November 14th, the Brookfield East Girls Swimming and Diving Team won their second straight Division 1 state championship while setting three WIAA state records in the process.

BROOKFIELD EAST HIGH SCHOOL On June 26th, the Brookfield East Boys Tennis Team finished off a perfect 21-0 season by sweeping Marquette (7-0) and bringing home the Division 1 gold from the WIAA State Championship.

ELMBROOK LAUNCHES 4 YEAR-OLD KINDERGARTEN

In January 2020, Elmbrook's Board of Education approved adding 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) for the 2021-2022 school year. The 4K offering is tuition-free and hosted at each of the five District elementary schools. This half-day program includes transportation to and from school and is a great opportunity to learn early reading, writing, and math skills taught by Wisconsin-certified educators.
