ছেঁ ড়াদ্বীপ আসলে কী ছেঁ ড়াদ্বীপ বাংলাদেশের সর্বদক্ষিণ বিন্দু। সেন্টমার্টি নের দক্ষিণ প্রান্ত ঘেঁষে কয়েকটা ছোট্ট দ্বীপ, নামের মানেই মূল দ্বীপ থেকে ছিঁড়ে আলাদা হয়ে যাওয়া। দোকানপাট বা ভিড় নেই। আছে পাথর, বালু, স্বচ্ছ পানি আর খোলা আকাশ। ছায়া কম, চায়ের দোকান হাতে গোনা দু-একটা। তাই ছোট একটা অভিযানের মতো তৈরি হয়ে যান। এটা সেন্টমার্টি নেরই অংশ, যা সরকার-ঘোষিত প্রতিবেশগত সংকটাপন্ন এলাকা। পাথর, প্রবাল আর সামুদ্রিক প্রাণীই জায়গাটাকে আলাদা করেছে, আর এগুলোর ক্ষতি খুব সহজে হয়।

What Chera Dip is Chera Dip is the southernmost point of Bangladesh: a cluster of small islets just off the southern tip of Saint Martin's Island. The name means "the island that broke away". Expect rocks, sand, clear water and open sky, not shops or crowds. There's little shade and only a couple of tea stalls. It's part of an Ecologically Critical Area, and the coral and sea life are easy to damage.

যাওয়ার দুটো উপায় ভাটার সময় হেঁ টে। সেন্টমার্টি নের দক্ষিণ প্রান্ত থেকে ভাটার সময় বালু আর পাথরের ওপর দিয়ে হেঁ টেই যাওয়া যায়। জোয়ার এলে সাগর পথটা কেটে দেয়। জেটি থেকে নৌকায়। দ্বীপের উত্তরের মূল জেটি থেকে ছেঁ ড়াদ্বীপে নৌকাও যায়। জেটির দিক থেকে রওনা দিলে ভ্যান, রিকশা বা বাইকে দ্বীপের দক্ষিণ অংশ অল্প পথ। দক্ষিণে থাকলে তো আপনি আগে থেকেই প্রান্তে, পায়ে হেঁ টেই বেরিয়ে পড়তে পারবেন।

Two ways to get there Walk across at low tide. From the south of Saint Martin's you can walk over sand and rocks to Chera Dip when the tide is out. At high tide the sea cuts the path. Take a boat from the main jetty at the north end of the island. From the jetty side, the south is a short ride by local van, rickshaw or bike. Staying in the south, you just set off on foot.

জোয়ার-ভাটা দেখে, সকাল সকাল হেঁ টে যাওয়া যায় শুধু ভাটার সময়। বের হওয়ার আগে সেদিনের জোয়ার-ভাটার সময় দেখে নিন, আর পানি বাড়ার আগেই ফেরার মতো সময় হাতে রাখুন। সময় না মিললে নৌকায় যান। সবচেয়ে ভালো ভোর বা সকাল। গরম কম, আলো নরম, আর দুপুরের দিকে জাহাজ ভিড়লে দিনের পর্যটকেরা আসার আগে জায়গাটা প্রায় আপনার একার। সঙ্গে যা নেবেন বারবার ব্যবহার করা যায় এমন বোতলে পানি (দ্বীপে পলিথিন নিষিদ্ধ) টু পি, সানগ্লাস আর সানস্ক্রিন পাথরে হাঁটার জন্য স্যান্ডেল বা পানির জুতা চা বা নৌকার জন্য কিছু নগদ টাকা নিজের ময়লা ফিরিয়ে আনার জন্য একটা ব্যাগ

Check the tide, go early The walk only works at low tide. Check the tide for your day and leave time to come back before the water rises; if it doesn't suit you, take a boat. Early morning is best: cooler, soft light, and quiet before the ships dock around midday.
Bring: water in a refillable bottle (polythene bags are banned on the island) · a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen · sandals or water shoes for the rocks · a little cash for tea or a boat · a bag to carry your rubbish back.

The 2026–27 rules weren't out as of October 2026; the latest is on elmarena.com. প্রবাল, কচ্ছপ, পাখি, কাঁকড়া, তারামাছ বা সামুদ্রিক শৈবালের ক্ষতি করা বা সংগ্রহ করা যাবে না। পলিথিন নিষিদ্ধ। একবার ব্যবহারের প্লাস্টিক এড়িয়ে চলুন। সৈকতে মোটরসাইকেল, সি-বাইক বা অন্য মোটরচালিত যান চালানো যাবে না। কেয়াবনে ঢোকা যাবে না, কেয়া ফল তোলা বা কেনাবেচা করা যাবে না। রাতে সৈকতে আলো, জোরে গান-বাজনা বা বারবিকিউ পার্টি করা যাবে না। পাথর আর ঝিনুক যেখানে আছে সেখানেই রেখে আসুন, আর নিজের সব ময়লা সঙ্গে ফিরিয়ে আনুন।
Visit without harming it Don't harm or collect coral, turtles, birds, crabs, starfish or seaweed. No polythene bags; avoid single-use plastic. No motorbikes, sea bikes or other motor vehicles on the beach. Keep out of the keya (screwpine) forest; don't pick, buy or sell keya fruit. No lights, loud music or barbecue parties on the beach at night. Leave the rocks and shells where they are, and take every bit of rubbish back with you.

দক্ষিণের সন্ধ্যা আর রাত দ্বীপের অনেক সুন্দর মুহূর্ত দিনের ট্রিপের বাইরে। সন্ধ্যায় পাথুরে সৈকতে সূর্যাস্ত, রাতে শহরের আলো ছাড়া তারাভরা আকাশ, আর ভোরে জাহাজ আসার আগে ভাটায় হেঁ টে ছেঁ ড়াদ্বীপ। অনুমতি থাকলে অন্তত এক রাত থাকার সবচেয়ে বড় কারণ এটাই।

রাতে সৈকতে বারবিকিউ নিষেধ, তাই আমরা রিসোর্টে র নিজস্ব বারবিকিউ স্পটে গ্রিল করি, খোলা আকাশের নিচের সি-ফু ড রেস্তোরাঁর পাশেই।
The south after dark Some of the island's best moments happen outside day-trip hours: the sunset over the rocks, a sky full of stars with no city lights, and an early walk to Chera Dip at low tide before the ships arrive. That's the best reason to stay at least one night when it's allowed. Barbecues aren't allowed on the beach at night, so at El Marena we grill at the resort's own barbecue spot, next to the open-air seafood restaurant.

যেভাবে আসবেন জাহাজ · By ship কক্সবাজারের নুনিয়ারছড়া জেটি থেকে জাহাজে প্রায় ৫–৬ ঘণ্টা। দ্বীপের জেটিতে নেমে ভ্যান, রিকশা বা বাইকে দক্ষিণে চলে আসুন।
Ship from Nuniarchhara jetty in Cox's Bazar, about 5–6 hours. From the island jetty, take a van, rickshaw or bike south to us.
