Your portable home when you are far from home, you need to rely on your choice of tent whether on that once in lifetime expedition or active weekend with family or friends. At Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports we have selected our extensive range from brands whose consistent attention to detail and innovation continue to impress. Care and consideration should be taken when selecting a tent, especially when you are venturing far from humanity where any failings could have serious consequences. To aid the selection process we have broken the range down into three clear categories based on intended use. Tents in this category have been designed to provide you with reliable, comfortable shelters when venturing off the beaten track. Utilising lightweight fabrics and innovative design features, these tents combine attractive pack weights with useable space. A range of designs allow you to tailor the tent to your specific needs: from roomy designs with good internal space, dual entrances and generous vestibules; to lighter designs that cut back on features to keep weight to an absolute minimum.

MOUNTAINEERING TENTS

Our range of basecamp models provide those who don’t need to carry their tents with luxurious space for extended living in the outdoors. The larger family orientated models in this series offer adaptable living space to accommodate dynamic family groups whether on short weekend breaks or extended adventures. This category also includes a ‘pop-up’ tent model aimed specifically at festival goers. This has not been built to withstand the level of use expected of other models in our tent range, but is ideal for a couple of nights at a festival.
