Do you want to rock and roll all night and party every day this weekend? Rock and roll is here to stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday when all of Ellicottville turns into a stage for Rock and Roll Weekend. Whether you like your rock classic, modern, bluesy or something in between, this celebration of all things rock and roll has something for everyone. Kick off the weekend Friday night, Sept. 15 with the fi nale of Ellicottville’s Stroll the Streets from 5 to 8 p.m. and catch the movie Trolls at the Gazebo starting at 8. The shops will be open and the streets are sure to be alive with entertainment! At 6 p.m., Madigan’s hosts the Party Squad, made up of Buffalo Music Hall of Fame members, ready to get you dancin’. At 7, check out Darkwater Duo on the Balloons mainstage as they add their acoustic sound to some popular covers. Finnerty’s joins in the weekend for the fi rst time with Gregg Sansone at 8 p.m. Sansone is a unique one-man band who can create a full-band sound from his keyboard. The Gin Mill hosts popular acoustic duo 2 Guys Drinkin’ Beer at 9 p.m., while Villaggio will feature Kickstart Rumble at 9 p.m. The music continues on Saturday at 1 p.m. when EVL 80s Band takes to the The Winery of Ellicottville Mainstage on Monroe Street playing totally rad hits from the decade of excess. Finnerty’s keeps things going at 3 p.m. with The Carl Motyka Band, who play everything from The Beatles to Skynyrd to Journey, rockin’ several decades. Never Ben hits the Madigan’s stage at 6 p.m. with music from the 1960s to today, and Hayden Fogel performs on his bluesy

Countdown to Fall Fest

Mark your calendars for Oct. 7 and 8 when Ellicottville’s Fall Festival returns. Tens of thousands of festival goers make for a lively weekend of unique foods, an arts and crafts show, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more. Fall Festival is a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the season in Ellicottville. In addition to a hub of activity downtown in the Village, Fall Festival extends to Holiday Valley with a 5K, a mountain bike race and chairlift rides. The fun continues in the evening, as the local hot spots bring in some of the best entertainment the area has to offer to keep the party going well into the night.
