“LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past” (Sept. 19) The galaxy is back in pieces and it’s up to some unlikely heroes to put it together again. An animated sequel to 2024’s “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy,” builder-turned-hero Sig Greebling and former Sith apprentice Darth Dev must join forces, fusing their powers of Force Building and Sith Breaking to face a mysterious new threat.

Expanding the comic-like world of “The Boys,” this satirical series’ second season finds students taking their seats at Godolkin University, despite recent developments with Homelander. While classes are ongoing, students find themselves less than focused as a war continues to brew between the Humans and the Supes, both on and off Godolkin’s campus.

Based on a true story, this 2025 film follows the harrowing case of a young woman living in Argentina, who is falsely accused of infanticide. With a fearless lawyer at her side, she enters a trial that soon becomes monumental in the ongoing fight for women’s reproductive rights, and battles for her freedom despite the corrupt, classist and patriarchal legal system she faces.

Hosted by Olivia Culpo, this newfangled culinary show sees 21 of America’s hottest young chefs (all under the age of 30) competing at The Culinary Institute of America as they battle to prove themselves a once-in-a-generation talent. In action since 1982, Matchroom Sports has managed stars like Jimmy White, Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor, proving its influence across decades.

“Haunted Hotel” (Sept. 19) Pack your bags … this is a hotel stay not easily forgotten! This hauntingly whimsical animated tale follows a single mother of two as she tries to manage the Undervale, a hotel with a major ghost problem. Her unexpected helper is her estranged brother — who is now one of the ghosts and believes his fellow phantoms have some pretty good ideas on running the place.

“The Lowdown” – Season 1 (Hulu — Sept. 24, Series Premiere)

From creator Sterlin Harjo, this series follows Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke), a rough-around-the-edges Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with exposing corruption constantly lands him in hot water. Working out of a rare bookstore that doubles as a community hub, Lee juggles dangerous investigations, a precocious teen daughter (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) and a skeptical ex (Kaniehtiio Horn). Denzel Washington supplies a vivid ‘Training Day’

Over the course of his career, Denzel Washington has given many memorable performances. One of the most vibrant is in “Training Day,” the 2001 police drama that Starz offers on Sunday, Sept. 14, with the actor doing Oscar-winning work as a veteran Los Angeles cop charged with evaluating an officer (Ethan Hawke) who wants to join a narcotics unit. The relative newcomer soon becomes alarmed by his supposed mentor’s forceful and sometimes corrupt techniques, leaving him torn about what to do. Washington and director Antoine Fuqua have worked together a number of times, also encompassing the “Equalizer” movies — and along with screenwriter David Ayer, they generate a compelling and deeply troubling character in “Training Day” that largely set the pace for later Washington roles in which he has played morally challenged people.

“Coyote Ugly” (Hulu, streaming): If you’re looking for hostesses dancing on bar tops, this is your movie.
