“Coyote Ugly” (Available Now)

From comedy hitmaker Mindy Kaling, this new series centers on five work-obsessed 20-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill. Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Jay Ellis star.

“The MoonSpinners” (Available Now) Set against the sunbleached beauty of the Isle of Crete, the story pits a young English tourist (Hayley Mills) against a wily Greek jewel thief (Eli Wallach). Mistaken identities and perilous escapes – including a nail-biting battle with a windmill – lead the junior-miss detective to a final confrontation aboard the yacht of an eccentric millionaire with a passion for priceless gems and pet cheetahs!

“The Sign of Zorro” (Available Now) Don Diego (Guy Williams) returns home to find his town under the heel of a cruel dictator, Capitan Monastario (Britt Lomond). Diego dons the mask of Zorro to fight the evil commandant’s tyranny, and, with the help of his mute servant Bernardo (Gene Sheldon), free the pueblo from his oppression.

“Hannah Berner: None of My Business” (June 5) Filmed at the Bluma Appel Theater in Toronto, this standup special sees Hannah Berner deliver her most vulnerable material yet — questioning her future, exposing her unorthodox career path, dishing dating secrets, and admitting she’s “part-time hot.”

Graced with a velvet voice, 21-year-old Violet Sanford (Piper Perabo) heads to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter, only to find her aspirations sidelined by the accolades and notoriety she receives at her “day” job as a barmaid at Coyote Ugly. The “Coyotes,” as they are affectionately called, tantalize customers and the media alike with their outrageous antics.

What’s Available NOW On

“Clarkson’s Farm”Season 5 (June 3) Clarkson’s Farm is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the U.K. farming community into uproar, Jeremy Clarkson decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. But, while the farm tries to go high-tech — resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad — even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.

“The Strongest Man in the World” (Available Now) Medfield College science major Dexter Riley (Kurt Russell) and his classmates have been working on a new vitamin compound when a lab accident creates a supercharged mix that ends up in Dexter’s cereal box! After breakfast the next morning, Dexter is transformed, possessing a superhuman strength that levels lampposts and destroys doorknobs.

“The Parent Trap” (Available Now) Susan and Sharon (both played by Hayley Mills) are identical twins separated at birth. Neither twin knows the other exists until a simple twist of fate finds them at the same summer camp. Then, realizing who they are, they plan a little twist of their own. They switch places with high hopes of getting their parents back together.

“Kyle Larson vs The Double” (Available Now) In motor sports, there are feats so audacious they border on impossible. For Kyle Larson, that feat was “The Double”— an attempt to complete two of auto racing’s crown jewel events in a single day: the legendary Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s grueling Coca-Cola 600, a combined 1,100 miles of racing across two different cities, two fundamentally different cars, and two of the most demanding tracks in the world.

“The Legend of Vox Machina” - Season 4 (Available Now)

This new season picks up a year after the Chroma Conclave. Vox Machina has separated, searching for love, family, and purpose. But as always, the call of adventure is a breath away. When a long-slumbering evil awakens to threaten the realm, they must reunite to take on an epic foe.

“The 51st AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Eddie Murphy” (May 31)

This special presentation honors one of the most influential and beloved figures in film, celebrating a career that has redefined comedy and left a lasting impact on global audiences.

“The Witness” (June 4)

The Witness follows the experiences of Alex (Max Fincham) and André Hanscombe (Jordan Bolger) as they deal with the devastating impact of a brutal act of violence. When Rachel Nickell was murdered on Wimbledon Common in 1992, André became a single parent overnight. Putting his own grief to one side, he made his son Alex – the only eyewitness to the attack – the centre of his world.

You know it is well and truly summer when screens heat up again with a new season of “America’s Got Talent.” Returning to NBC for its 21st season, the “AGT” stage is getting ready to bolster performers — from singers and dancers, to magicians, daredevils and more — as they take their talents to new heights in a special two-hour premiere Tuesday, June 2. Executive produced by creator and longtime judge Simon Cowell (“American Idol”), the “AGT” judging panel has been one of the certified hitmaker’s homes since 2011. Joining Cowell this season on the panel are returning judges Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”), Howie Mandel (“The Price is Right Tonight”) and Mel B (“Spice World,” 1997). Mandel, the series’ longest-running judge, has been featured in the show since its fifth season in 2010. But fellow mainstays Vergara and Mel B are hardly new faces, having come and gone from the show since 2020 and 2011, respectively. Plus, another fan-favorite is making a return with Terry Crews (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) resuming his role as host, providing levity behind the scenes and support to the nervous performers. And these hopefuls will need as much support as they can get, hav-

ing to make it through a gauntlet of auditions to make it to the top. That support may come from the 10 available golden buzzers — each judge, as well as Crews, has two each — which send a performer straight through to the live shows and one step closer to their dreams.

Another new twist this season adds an extra layer of excitement to a competition that already sends the adrenaline levels through the roof.

“Taking place after auditions are complete and the 10 Golden Buzzers have been awarded, ... the panel will deliberate and choose which performers advance to live shows. However, there will be a select group of acts that the judges will want to see a second time before making their final decision. These acts will be invited to the Judges Callbacks and given one last opportunity to fight for the final remaining spots in the [live shows].” At the end of it all, the performer, or group of performers, who prove to be the most impressive and entertaining week after week will walk away with a $1-million grand prize.

With new twists and incredible new talents, catch the Season 21 premiere of “America’s Got Talent” Tuesday, June 2, on NBC.

“Office Romance” (June 5) Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein lead this raunchy new romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts. Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford and Amy Sedaris also feature in the cast.

Elliott Gould, David Arkin and Donald Sutherland in “M*A*S*H”

“M*A*S*H” still makes movie merriment in an unexpected setting

“M*A*S*H” became a television classic in series form, but first, director Robert Altman (“Nashville,” 1975) made a famously irreverent 1970 movie comedy out of Richard Hooker’s novel about a medical unit during the Korean War. FXM shows the feature on Friday, June 5, with Donald Sutherland (“Pride & Prejudice,” 2005) and Elliott Gould (“The Long Goodbye,” 1973) in the Hawkeye and Trapper John roles that Alan Alda (“The Four Seasons,” 1981) and Wayne Rogers (“House Calls”) would assume in the weekly show. They’re surgeons who take a hugely offbeat approach to dealing with the grim atmosphere, and many of the film’s trademarks — including the loudspeaker notices and the theme song — were retained for the series. Robert Duvall (“The Godfather,” 1972), Sally Kellerman (“Delgo,” 2008), Tom Skerritt (“Top Gun,” 1986) and Rene Auberjonois (“Benson”) are among the other performers occupying pivotal parts here, but Gary Burghoff (“Behind the Waterfall,” 1995) was the sole major cast member to reprise his character (Corporal Walter “Radar” O’Reilly) in the TV version. Those familiar only with the show may find this variation rougher around the edges, but that’s in keeping with Altman’s maverick moviemaking style ... and he later declared that he was no fan of the series.

“Battlestar Galactica” (Paramount+ and Pluto TV, streaming): The original sci-fi saga lasted a single season on ABC (1978-79), though it was followed briefly by “Galactica 1980”), but its later reboot got much more critical acclaim for the complexity with which it approached the uneasy existence of humans and Cylons. The latter version is now streaming its four seasons (2005-09), along with such corollary programming as the introductory miniseries and the prequel show “Caprica.” Stars include Edward James Olmos (“Selena,” 1997), Mary McDonnell (“Major Crimes”), Jamie Bamber (“The Lair,” 2022) and Katee Sackhoff (“Longmire”).
