A major throughline of this first season will follow ongoing separation between Amanda and Kyle, who met, began dating and got married within the first six seasons of “Summer House.” In January 2026, the couple announced their separation via Instagram Stories. Lindsay, meanwhile, has her own love life to worry about. As a single mother with a young daughter, Gemma, Lindsay has bravely decided to embrace a new season of her own, diving headfirst into NYC’s dating scene.
“Rebuilding life on her own terms and rediscovering herself, Lindsay balances mommy time with an intentional return to dating, leaning on her closest friends along the way,” Bravo describes.
Lindsay has also described how “In The City” differs from “Summer House” in tone, content and setting.
“We’re not really, like, in a place where we can party in the Hamptons, in a shared house all summer, every weekend, right? Like I have a baby now, and that’s just not where my head is at,” she said, speaking with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025.
“But I think ‘In The City’ is so great because you see our day-to-day lives,” she continued. “Like, some of us are new parents. Some of us have kids. Some of us are married. Some of us are trying to have kids. So, it really is like the show of just learning how to take that new chapter in stride.” Seasons change, cities change, relationships change — but will anything stay the same for these longtime friends? Season 1 of “In The City” debuts Tuesday, May 19, on Bravo.

Carroll Baker in “Harlow”
Hollywood history heralds ‘Harlow’ on TCM
Jean Harlow (“Dinner at Eight,” 1933) was a legendary star of the movie industry’s Golden Age, and such a fascination with her remained in 1965, as there wasn’t just one screen biography of her but two. One was from producer Joseph E. Levine (“Harlow,” 1965) that starred Carroll Baker (“Giant,” 1956), while the other one featured Carol Lynley (“The Immortal”). Both are part of the monthlong “Hollywood Biopics” theme on Turner Classic Movies this Wednesday, May 20, recalling how an agent (played by Red Buttons, from 1985’s “Alice in Wonderland”) helped elevate Harlow to a rarefied level of fame. Baker had acted for Levine — her manager at the time — previously in “The Carpetbaggers” (1964), and he surrounded her here with a cast of familiar faces also including Angela Lansbury (“Murder, She Wrote”) as Harlow’s mother, Peter Lawford (“Ocean’s 11,” 1960), Mike Connors (“Mannix”), Martin Balsam (“Cape Fear,” 1962), Leslie Nielsen (“Airplane!,” 1980) and Raf Vallone (“Harlow,” 1965). The result should be taken with a grain of salt in terms of being faithfully factual, but the glitzy and sometimes dramatically overwrought project is entertaining if taken on its own terms.
“The Goonies” (Freeform, Sunday, May 17, and Monday, May 18): A favorite of many film fans — especially those who were of a certain young age when the picture was released in 1985 — director Richard Donner’s (“Lethal Weapon,” 1987) fun adventure, from an idea by Steven Spielberg (“West Side Story,” 2021), takes a group of youthful friends on a hunt for a treasure that they hope will prevent their homes from being foreclosed. The quest brings them much more excitement and danger than they
