The hardworking boys of Missouri’s McBee Farm & Cattle return in Season 3 of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,” making its debut Monday, June 15, on Bravo, before streaming the next day on Peacock. During its debut season, “The McBee Dynasty” introduced its viewers to Steven McBee and his three sons: Steven Jr., Cole and Jesse, who showcased their daily lives on the ranch and offered a realistic counterpart to fictionalized series such as “Yellowstone.” In the series’ second season, however, eldest brother Steven Jr. was left to take on far more responsibility than he ever expected when the FBI began investigating his father, threatening to shutter their family business. All of a sudden, Steven Jr., Cole and Jesse were facing a reality even stranger than fiction.

Now, “[the] McBee family returns and their future has never been in greater danger,” according to Season 3’s official announcement. “With the family patriarch facing prison time following a massive FBI investigation and banks calling in loans as a result, the McBee family must scramble to protect their legacy amid new romances, unexpected pregnancies, emotional goodbyes and devastating losses across the family businesses.

For Steven Jr., it seems even more drama is on the horizon, as he contemplates the future of his relationship with new girlfriend Allie Eklund — even discussing marriage with his brothers during a trailer for Season 3.

“I think I’m probably gonna marry her,” he says, later debating whether he should leave the ranch altogether so he could be closer to Allie in Texas.

Whether Steven Jr. remains in the game, Steven Sr. has shown he’s not ready to go down without a fight.

“I am focused solely on saving the farm,” Steven Sr. promised, closing out a preview for Season 3. “There is no backup plan, no contingency. We’re gonna make it through this, and I’ll be damned if that doesn’t happen.”

there again on Monday, June 15, as part of a day of New York-set films, with Amy Irving being a winsome delight as a bookstore employee who has rationalized not needing romance in her life. That doesn’t satisfy her grandmother (theater veteran Reizl Bozyk, in her one movie role), who’s intent on setting her up with someone, assisted by a matchmaker (Sylvia Miles).

The candidate is an earnest pickle merchant (Peter Riegert) with a modest wisdom that both intrigues and unsettles the Irving character, who’s in the midst of a flirtation with an author (Jeroen Krabbe) known for being something of a rogue. Director Joan Micklin Silver underscores the proceedings pleasingly with songs by The Roches (one of whom, Suzzy, also has a supporting acting role here). Susan Sandler adapted the film from her own play; also appearing, briefly, is a pre-“Frasier” David Hyde Pierce as a bookstore colleague.

Scott turned down the Best Actor Oscar he won for it — decrying such contests among performers. Still, he gives an unquestionably powerful performance as Gen. George S. Patton right from the start, when he memorably
