“Dope Girls” - Season 1 (July 29)

“Memoir of a Snail” (July 29)

Set in London post-World War I, this series follows two women navigating a world eager to return to old norms, despite the freedom and financial independence they gained during the war. Kate Gallaway (Julianne Nicholson), a single mother, opens an illicit nightclub to support her daughter, while Violet Davies (Eliza Scanlen) joins the first wave of female officers in the Metropolitan Police.

In this animation, Grace (Charlotte Belsey) and her twin brother Gilbert (Mason Litsos) are separated after the death of their parents. While Gilbert is placed with a strict family, Grace retreats into isolation, finding comfort in her pet snails. Years later, she forms an unexpected bond with Pinky (Jacki Weaver), an eccentric older woman who helps her rediscover connection and hope in a world that has repeatedly let her down.

“Project Runway”Season 21 (Aug. 1)

Twelve fashion designers from different backgrounds compete for a chance to take their career to the next level in this reality competition. Heidi Klum returns as host, former winner Christian Siriano returns as mentor, Nina Garcia returns as judge, and fashion trailblazer Law Roach joins the panel as the newest judge.

“Who Wants to be a Millionaire” - Season 4 (Available Now)

Jimmy Kimmel hosts this revival of the popular game show, which features pairs of celebrity contestants playing together in the hopes of winning $1 million for the charity of their choice.

“Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time” In 2005, New Orleans experienced one of the deadliest catastrophies in U.S. history. Offering eyewitness testimony from the citizens, first responders and officials who survived the tragic natural disaster, this docuseries shares unprecedented access to archival footage, an in-depth, minute-by-minute account of the storm itself and an unparalleled examination of the hurricane’s wide-ranging impact, even 20 years after its landfall.

“Moana” (Available Now)

Fascinated by the ocean waters that surround her island, the young Moana finds herself drawn into an adventure unlike any other. Tasked with returning a mystical relic to the goddess Te Fiti, Moana sets out on the water in search of Maui, a strong and legendary demi-god, hoping the hero might be able to help her complete the daunting mission at hand.

“Countdown” (Available Now) Starring Jensen Ackles and Eric Dane, this action-packed series follows as LAPD Det. Mark Meachum (Ackles) is pulled into a secret task force following the murder of an officer with the Department of Homeland Security. Alongside undercover agents from across law enforcement — including Special Agent in Charge Nathan Blythe (Dane) — Meachum begins an investigation that soon turns sinister, jeopardizing the safety of millions.

“StuGo” – Season 1 (July 30)

Hoping to prepare for the upcoming school year, six academically-gifted middle schoolers — Pliny, Merian, Francis, Larry, Chip and Sara — are tricked into attending a fake, tropical summer camp by mad scientist Dr. Lullah. Finding themselves stuck at “camp” for the next three months, the kids (and a stowaway or two) must navigate the island surrounding them, complete with its fantastical flora and fauna.

“Moana 2” (Available Now)

Set three years after 2016’s “Moana,” the steadfast explorer receives a message from a wayfinding ancestor, one who tells Moana she must cross the seas to find and save an island called Motufetu, now that it has been sunken to the bottom of the ocean by a power-hungry storm god, Nalo. Joined by friends Loto, Moni and Kele — alongside Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster, of course — Moana sets sail once again, hoping to find Motufetu, raise the island and help its citizens thrive.

“The Chosen: Last Supper” - Season 5 (Available Now) Created, directed and co-written by Dallas Jenkins, this fifth season of this Christian historical drama recounts the final week of Jesus’ (Jonathan Roumie) life, depicting his arrival in Jerusalem, confrontations with temple merchants, the Last Supper and Judas’ (Luke Dimyan) eventual betrayal of Jesus. Elizabeth Tabish, Paras Patel, George H. Xanthis, Noah James and Shahar Isaac also star.

“The Accountant” (Available Now) Considered a mathematical savant, Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) makes his living as an accountant for dangerous criminal organizations, using his small-town CPA office as a front for his real business. When he agrees to take on a job working for a state-of-the-art robotics company, Wolff begins to unravel a nefarious plot, and must find a way to keep himself safe despite a rising body-count and a tricky treasury agent (J.K. Simmons) breathing down his neck.

“WWE: Unreal” (July 29) A rare behind-thescenes glimpse inside the WWE writer’s room, where storylines are built, major decisions unfold in real time, and the chaos behind the curtain rivals the drama in the ring. From “Raw” to “WrestleMania,” this series pulls back the curtain on the creative process, backstage tensions, and pivotal moments that shape WWE’s biggest events.

“Leanne”Season 1 (July 31)

In this new sitcom, Leanne’s (Leanne Morgan) life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years (Ryan Stiles) leaves her for another woman. Starting over when you’re a grandmother and in menopause isn’t exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family, she will navigate this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad. Kristen Johnston, Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes, Celia Weston and Blake Clark also star.

“The Accountant 2” (Available Now) In this 2025 sequel, Christian Wolff (Affleck) partners with his estranged brother, Braxton (Jon Bernthal), as he attempts to investigate the confounding murder of a treasury chief — a man left dead with a suspicious note scrawled across his arm, reading “find the accountant.” Alongside Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), the brothers risk their lives to solve the case, quickly tumbling into a world of deadly conspiracies and ruthless killers.

“Trainwreck: Storm Area 51” (July 29)

This documentary traces the events of September 2019, when a Facebook event urged users to raid Area 51 — a highly classified United States Air Force base located in Nevada — to uncover alleged extraterrestrial secrets. The invitation drew over 2 million responses and went viral as an Internet meme, sparking widespread media attention.

“Necaxa” - Season 1 (Hulu — Aug. 7, Series Premiere) In this series from FX and Disney+ Latin America, Eva Longoria sets out to reignite the soul of one of Mexico’s oldest and most storied football clubs, Club Necaxa — enlisting the help of fellow owners Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds, fresh off their headline-making revival of Wrexham AFC.
“My Oxford Year” (Aug. 1) When Anna (Sofia Carson), an ambitious young American, heads to the University of Oxford to chase her lifelong dream, everything seems perfectly on track — until she meets Jamie (Corey Mylchreest), a witty and charismatic local who turns her world upside down and changes both of their lives forever.

Leslie Nielsen’s aim is true with ‘The Naked Gun’

The day before a combination remake and sequel is slated to open in theaters, “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” will prove its comedic worth again Thursday, July 31, on The Movie Channel. Leslie Nielsen already had made the transition to a more humorous image by working with the same writer-directors — David Zucker, Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams — on “Airplane!” (1980) when they all reunited to give their short-lived ABC police satire “Police Squad!” another chance at life as a 1988 movie.

The result hit the bullseye, with Nielsen’s cluelessly inept Lt. Frank Drebin trying to stop a plot against Queen Elizabeth II (played by Jeannette Charles) while she’s visiting America. He does so despite himself, and also despite a businessman (Ricardo Montalban) who’s heavily involved in illegal doings. Priscilla Presley also shows a humorous flair as the villain’s unsuspecting assistant, and she returned for the 1991 and 1994 sequels (which TMC shows the same day), as did George Kennedy and O.J. Simpson. Liam Neeson stars in the new “Naked Gun,” and thanks to how game Nielsen is here, he has extremely big shoes to fill.

“Mad About You” (Hulu, streaming): The original version of the married-life sitcom is now streaming all of its seven seasons, with Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt as Paul and Jamie Buchman, New Yorkers who
