GOWANDA, NY The Gowanda Varsity boys basketball team on Jan. 18 traveled to Silver Creek. Down 4-2 early, Gowanda rallied to take an 11-4 lead, but
Silver Creek worked their way back. A 3-point basket gave Silver Creek a 16-15 lead and they didn’t look back. As Gowanda’s offense faltered, Silver Creek went on to score the last 10 points of the first quarter taking the score to 26-15.
