Tasha I. Takosky

ROULETTE, Pa.---Tasha I. Takosky, 35, of Roulette, formerly of Bradford, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.

Born on Saturday, February 18, 1984 in Beaumont, Texas, she was a daughter of Frank H. Turner and Shirley Y. Butler Takosky.

In keeping with Tasha’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be held on a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family for the benefit of her children, c/o the First

Baptist Church, attention: Cheryl Barshinger, PO Box 246, Roulette, PA 16746.

Tasha’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.

Kenneth L. Howard

in Bradford, he was a son of William L. and Angeline Trumbull Howard. On Mar. 20, 1954, in Cuba, NY, he married Elizabeth Arlene Keesler, who survives. They were married 65 years.

Kenneth graduated from Hamlin Township High School, Hazel Hurst, PA, class of 1948.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the US Air Force, from Feb. 1952 - Feb. 1956.

Mr. Howard was employed with Quaker State Refinery, for 40 years, and SMETHPORT- Kenneth 3 years with Petro Wax, L. Howard, 88, of W. Valley Farmers Valley, before Rd., passed away Thursday retiring in 1993.

(Aug. 8, 2019) in the Olean He was a lifetime General Hospital. resident of the area and Born January 19, 1931, attended the United

Methodist Church, Smethport, where he served as an usher for many years.

He was a member of the VFW, Post 2497, Smethport, American Association of Retired Persons, and was an avid gardener and lawn keeper. He also enjoyed carpentry and hunting.

Surviving are three daughters, Pamella S. Howard of Duke Center, Vicky E. (Carl) Burris of Ormsby, and Karla L. Black of Smethport; four grandchildren: Meggan Hidalgo of Gilbert, AZ, Stephanie, Tyler, and Morgan Black all of Smethport; two greatgrandchildren: Kamden and Preslee Hidalgo both Gilbert, AZ; and several

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Joseph, James and Robert Howard; and a sister, Elizabeth Burley.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the United Methodist Church, Smethport, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
