WITH ROB 'AKA BOSSMAN' Hey Team! I’m so excited to bring to you our new internal newsletter. This will help you see what is happening within our team and you will be able to keep up in a quick look over the magazine.

We have had a great start to the year in our numbers from January to April are over 15% greater than 2021. In 2021 we had sold 510 homes for $197,392,086 in volume versus 2022 which is 573 homes for $228,307,447 The market still seems to be going super strong. I always say put your head down and work hard but be prepared for a turn in the market. Some of you haven’t experienced market volatility. With the cost going up, interest rates on the rise, and super low inventory we are definitely will be seeing a different market than we’ve seen over the last few years. What I would tell you is to keep this in mind. When we went through the recession of 2007 through 2011 everyone thought the world was ending. Yet people still bought houses, people still sold houses, and overall we gained growth through that market.

I remember talking to one agent that was struggling and they said nothing is selling. So we went to MLS and I said 20,000 homes were still sold in Kansas City. They looked at me and said I should be able to get my piece out of that many. Exactly.

The best thing to remember is don’t let the national news be an indicator of what you can do locally. Focus on your business and your clients and block out all of the noise nationally. Back in the recession, everyone told me to stop spending money on my clients.

We did not stop and that’s what led to our unprecedented growth. Do not listen to national media!

On another note. We are in the process of looking at a transaction coordinator position to be filled. This will bring a cheaper option for those who want help after the contract is signed. I’m super excited about this and where it will help you take your individual business.

My goal is to always look at our business and find better ways to bring you value. Please don’t hesitate to send me ideas for new options or even to upgrade current policies. I am always open to listening and continue to get better.

I would also like to welcome all of our new and experienced agents that have joined the team. Welcome to our expansion agents who will inevitably help spread our brand and keep our team reputation shining bright in our outside markets. Thank you all for your trust in our system. Welcome!

I am so proud of what we have built together and the future looks incredibly bright. I consistently get compliments on you all almost on a daily basis and this isn’t the norm in our industry so kudos to you.

I want each of you to achieve whatever goal you’re working towards. Remember I am here to help with anything you might need. Thank you for everything you do and I’m excited for what this teams future holds.

2021 (Jan-April)

Lindie (KC Agent) worked with a lead through thick and thin. Starting with them in Summer 2021, they searched, put the search on hold waiting for inventory to grow, and a lot of leads get lost in this transitional phase. Through nurturing and staying in communication, Lindie almost a year later helped the lead get under contract for 1.2M on the selling side and 1.9M on the buying side! Just under 3M in two transactions from one lead and they’ll be using our moving trucks soon!!

Success Story #2 Julie (DM Agent) got the rarest of unicorns when it comes to leads. Julie took a vetted lead who wanted to see one property. After speaking with Julie this lead was determined he would own that home…. And Julie got him under contract after just 1 showing and 1 offer!!!

Boy oh boy has this part of the year been a whirlwind for our expansion team! We’ve already opened two new offices, one in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas area and then one in Ames, Iowa!

Oh but wait…we just added one more! Allyson has agreed to lead the way down at the Lake of the Ozarks!! She has a great market presence in the Climax Spring portion of the lake and she’s looking to grow the team closer toward the dam.

If you have any buyers or sellers looking at the lake I’m sure she would love for you to refer them down to her.

Here is a little about us...from the North. :) We kicked off the year going to the DMAAR celebration in Vegas… won an award and met Rob...that is where the year took a different turn for us! We knew that joining the team was our next move and we are so thrilled we did! We recently hosted our 2nd Annual Client Appreciation Party and we had a full house of clients with the team there to support us. IT was amazing! We are already recruiting and making moves to have 2022 to be epic...we are so stoked to be a part of such an incredible group!

2022 has been so great for our office! We have continued to grow by leaps and bounds! We have many agents who are already more than halfway to reaching their goals they set and we are not even halfway through!

DES MOINES MANAGER

Iowa has had a busy and fun first quarter of 2022.

We kicked it off with the DMAAR celebration in January. In February, we celebrated our successful 2021 at the RE/MAX Concepts Awards Celebration.

Our team achieved Diamond Club level! We ended the month with a trip to Las Vegas for the RE/MAX R4 convention. We are so excited to see what the rest of 2022 has in store for us!

KC NORTH MANAGER

Exciting things are happening in KC North!

We are working hard to build our Team and Presence in the Northland. We have welcomed several new faces this quarter and we're looking forward to inviting a few more to join our fabulous team! We're geared up for growing our KCN RET family and establishing our team as "THE" Northland Team! We're excited about the next quarter and anxious to see what we can accomplish in this busy market!

DALLA/FT WORTH MANAGER

I kicked off the year by moving back to my home state of Texas. After my many years on the team in KC it was a natural fit that Rob and I decided to move the team to Texas also!

I am settling into my new brokerage at Ebby Halliday and already working on recruiting and at the same time reconnecting with my old Texas friends to get some business rolling. I am super excited about seeing what 2022 has to bring for the newest office on the team!

BROOKSIDE MANAGERS

Jess and Kathleen have a new home and a new member!! Our little twosome grew to a three person operation with the addition of Sany Magyar who is impressing us weekly and growing in her real estate journey. We also moved from the Plaza to Reece in Brookside, loving our new location so far settling in and making new friendships within our wonderful brokerage.

The Corridor market is still making things interesting and keeping us on our toes but we're winning the battle here and there and seem to be on a steady track to having a great year.

Our biggest tip in this market is COMMUNICATION and keeping a level head, 99 times out of 100 if we all work together and keep our cool the end result is what you were trying to achieve from the beginning.

2022 has started off great in Springfield with the addition of 6 agents, 4 of them new and ready to build their business. The amount of professionalism we have is amazing and I am so honored to manage this group of talented agents here in Springfield. The rest of they year looks to be very exciting!

TOWN CENTER MANAGERS

We've had a busy 1st quarter of 2022. We've added a few new Realtors who have been doing great. We are coming off one of best months in April doing over $11 million in sales. We had a couple combined team meetings with the College Blvd office where we had an appraiser come talk to us about what they are seeing and a presentation from a home inspection company. We are looking forward to the next big team meeting in May to connect with other Ellerman team agents.
