CRISTO REY HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION PROCESS

Before any student applies, we encourage them to check the eligibility requirements below. We accept students on a rolling basis until our class is full. Admissions are competitive. Therefore, the sooner the student applies the better!

Please note that while we do accept applications for transfer students (10th grade), seats are very limited.

STEP ONE

Complete the Application

The application for admission is completed online. Please check our school website to access the admission application platform. Every family will create an online account and will be able to submit the student admission application through the online platform. Also, the family will be able to check the status of their student application through this platform. All applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Applying early is strongly encouraged.

STEP TWO

Submit Financial Aid Application

The financial aid application is mandatory for every family. Each family must meet the income guidelines set by the Cristo Rey Network. The financial aid application includes providing tax documents and pay stubs if available. If you do not have these forms or would like help completing the application, please contact the Admissions Office for an appointment. Families pay for school tuition as little $50 dollars per month up to $250 per month.

STEP THREE

Provide Additional Forms

We ask for the following documents from every student as part as the admission process. This documentation will be presented to the admission committee as part as the student file: STUDENT RECORDS (GRADES AND ATTENDANCE)

PAST STUDENT REPORT CARDS AND TESTING RECOMMENDATION FORMS FROM TEACHERS AND PRINCIPAL/COUNSELOR

Next Steps

Once the above steps are completed, a student will be invited to an inperson interview with the school administration and staff members. After the interview the admission committee meets to evaluate each candidate and decide the student's admission to the school. We encourage every family to be in contact with the Admission team throughout the process and if they have any questions or concerns. We encourage all the families to make appointments with our team, but we also welcome walk-ins. Also, we host Open Houses every month, parent informational nights and school tours.
