This month’s reader submissions depict our beautiful winter season. We received several winterscape photos, so we decided to share them all with you. We haven’t had a winter this lovely in years!

Also, did you know we have other Elk River communities in our country? Elk River Living received this photo from Natalie Layne in Elk River, Minnesota. She said, “My husband and I, along with our four children, moved up to Elk River this past November 2020 from Minneapolis. Upon one of our adventures to get to know the area around us, we decided to check out the William H. Houlton Conservation Area--wow, I am so glad we did! The Conservation Area is absolutely stunning! As a photographer my heart was leaping with joy seeing all the picturesque spots along the walking trail.” Thank you, Natalie, for the gorgeous sister-Elk River photos.
