To celebrate their 60th anniversary, Chief David Wagner and the PVFD had a Fireman’s Parade and invited the public to stop by the firehouse for an Open House with hot dogs and cake.
Gabby Strickland Walker shares her amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, loaded with chocolate chips and her secret ingredient which makes them ooey, gooey, and delicious!
HHHS Seniors paint the lot and the Boy’s Golf Team rack up the Ws, Chandler Pumpkin Farm, Coop’s t-shirts are a hit, two new Elk River businesses, and Clendenin Women’s Club Fall Festival.
This month ERL honors three very special heros: Sheriff Mike Rutherford, his amazing Administrative Assistant Sheila Melton, and Deputy Chief Greg Young.
117th Pinch Reunion
This year was another amazing Pinch Reunion, with a full Saturday of fun, free, family-friendly activities and a community church service on Sunday at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
With help from the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation and support from the community, each year both RCYBE ballet and WVYSO strings programs continue to grow in Clendenin.
