The year of 2026 is reaching the halfway mark with many members savoring the large amount of activities we’ve had so far this year. Attendance at our luncheons continues to grow. That should not be a surprise, because we have fabulous food, quite a few talented entertainers and some innovative activities. We are flirting with regularly having over 100 people at many of our most popular luncheons.
Many of the programs have seen a boost in attendance in recent months. The Ambassadors Choir group singing has rebounded to over 20 members for the first time in 7 years. The Happy Hookers (knit and crochet) is in danger of outgrowing Room #1 if they get a few more members. The card players, Wii bowlers and Dominoes groups are hoping to add more members this year.

When you’re 20 and you drop something, you pick it up. When you’re 80 and you drop something, you decide you don’t need it anymore.
