Let your child experience their best summer yet! Summer camps help create special memories that last a lifetime. Children can attend for one week or the entire summer. Our camps serve children ages 3 - 15yrs. This summer the Park District is offering over a dozen different camps, many with extended care options. Join in the summer camp fun!

● IN PERSON Register in person at the Pavilion or Al Hattendorf Center. To receive resident rates, you must verify your residency by providing a valid ID, such as a driver's license, or utility bill. See page 11 for further details on Resident and Non-Resident status.
Option 2 ● ONLINE To register online and receive resident rates you must first establish your resident status as described in Option 1.
Note Residents that support the Elk Grove Park District through property taxes are defined as Elk Grove Park District residents.

Payment Options
Option 1 Payment in full at time of registration.
Option 2 Monthly installment bills by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). An EFT agreement form must be completed at time of registration. Forms are available at the Pavilion and Al Hattendorf Center customer service desks. A deposit of $25 is required per session to hold your child's place in a camp. The deposit is due at time of registration and is deducted from the total cost of camp.

The Elk Grove Park District accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards, debit cards and Elk Grove Park District gift cards. A $35 charge will be assessed for a returned check.
GOLF CAMPS
Junior Golf Programs
The Junior Golf program includes instruction by our teaching professionals and playing time at Fox Run Golf Links. Content will include rules, etiquette, course management and the technique of hitting the ball. All students must have clubs or inform the staff at Fox Run so we can provide them.
Registration is held at Fox Run Clubhouse. Parents or guardians must be present to register. All classes will be playing at Fox Run Golf Links on the last day of each session. Parents or guardians are encouraged to drive the students on play day. Golf Registration is available now.

Fun in the Sun
We have plenty of outdoor exploration and water play activities spread out around the campus grounds. Children should bring a nut-free lunch. Choose either the 5-day or 3-day option. Three day camp is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Field trips only occur for the 5-day camp. Children must exhibit independent self-care skills for this camp. A welcome email will follow prior to your child's start date. Child must be age 4 by March 31, 2026.

Three to five year old children will love this first experience for "want to be" campers. Kiddie Summer Fun will include lots of outdoor activities such as water play, outdoor games and crafts. The Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) team is staffed with full-time Therapeutic Recreation professionals and trained part-time staff. NWSRA offer quality year-round recreation for individuals of all ages with disabilities. NWSRA also provides assistance to individuals who wish to participate in their local park district programs. SPECIALTY CAMPS
Junior Leader Program
Did you always want to be a Camp Counselor? The Junior Leader program provides a unique opportunity to develop skills necessary for working with children in a hands-on environment. We will provide you with the skills needed to be an effective leader. Four days a week, Junior Leaders will be involved in the daily camp activities and assist camp staff with campers. Every Wednesday, Junior Leaders will have leadership training. Interested applicants can pick up an application packet starting March 9 at the Pavilion Customer Service Desk.
1. Packets must be completed and returned to the Pavilion Customer Service Desk by May 1.
2. In early May, prospective Junior Leaders are contacted to schedule an interview.
3. Once the interviews are complete, Junior Leaders are notified of their status. Those selected need to attend the mandatory orientation. After the orientation, staff determines placement. Participants have the option of signing up for one or both sessions.

Camp High School
Musical Campers will put on a full-scale musical theatre production at Elk Grove High School! Within the six-week camp, Campers will experience all aspects of Theatre production. Boys and Girls Sports Camp
This camp is designed for children 6 - 11 years old who want to learn and participate in numerous sports-related activities, games and field trips. Campers will participate in activities such as soccer, softball, flag football, dodgeball, kickball, basketball and so much more. The camp will be broken into age groups to promote fair play. Campers will learn the value of good sportsmanship and most importantly have fun. Campers will enjoy a weekly trip to Rainbow Falls (weather permitting). Sand Volleyball Camp

Join us on the sand court this summer for some exciting volleyball action! Sand (beach) volleyball is a great physical workout as well as a way to practice all around skills and ball control. Young volleyball players will focus on drills such as passing, underhand and overhand setting, attacking, defense and serving. Daily scrimmages will allow players to use these skills in a game environment. This camp is designed to help players of all skill levels foster a love for volleyball by focusing on skill development, healthy competition, and enthusiasm. Please bring a labeled water bottle.

Experience one of the fastest growing sports in the country that anyone can play! Youngsters will be introduced to pickleball stroke fundamentals such as serving, lobbing, smashing, volleying and dinking. Fun and challenging drills and recreational matches will help young players develop the hand-eye coordination, motor skills and mental abilities needed for successful pickleball games. Archery
Participants will learn an excellent skill using a nationally recognized beginner’s 9-step to the 10 ring progression. Archery helps participants’ concentration and increases discipline. Participants also will learn about archery history and equipment, archery characters in the movies and comics, Olympic Archery, folk heroes and other fun archery facts through interesting activities and discussions. Equipment will be provided.

Youth Tennis

Smash your way into this exciting camp! Young players will learn tennis fundamentals, such as ground strokes, volleying, serving and overhead shots, as well as develop the agility, speed and coordination needed for effective tennis play. Challenging and exciting drills and games will be implemented to reinforce these techniques. Equipment will be provided.

Flag Football
NEW
Prepare for the fall football season. Through positive coaching, players will build flag football skills like catching, passing, de-flagging, and offense and defense strategies. Football plays will be taught through drills and games in a positive and safe environment with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship.

Register Early
We reserve the right to change program content and/or schedules as needed. Please don’t wait until the day a camp begins to register.
Camp Waitlist Confirmation
The registration office will contact you in case of a waitlist. If you do not receive a waitlist notice, your registration has been processed as requested.
Waiver and Release Form
A Waiver and Release of All Claims form must be signed when registering yourself or your minor child for Elk Grove Park District programs.
Photo/Video Consent and Release
Photographs and videos are periodically taken of people participating in Elk Grove Park District programs and activities. All persons participating in Park District programs/activities or using Park District property thereby agree that any photograph or video taken by the Park District of yourself and/or your child/ ward may be used by the Park District without limitation, prior notice or permission and without compensation to the participant. Photograph or video may be used for promotional or information purposes. These include but are not limited to Park District publications, signage, social media accounts and websites. Such productions may be copied, copyrighted, edited and distributed by the Elk Grove Park District in the manner described above. Objections must be made in writing and filed with the Elk Grove Park District. Written objections may be submitted to Elk Grove Park District, Administration Building, Marketing Department 499 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007, and should include your and/or your child/ward’s name, address, phone number, your signature with date and a current photo of your child. Objections are good for one year from filing date.

Camp Withdrawal/Refund Policy
In order to receive a full refund, notification to withdraw from a camp must be received by the registration deadline date for that particular camp. Requests must be made by completing a withdrawal/refund form available online or at the Pavilion or Al Hattendorf Customer Service Desks. Requests made after the deadline may be charged a 10% service fee per program based on the total cost. The fees range from $5 to $25. Withdrawal after the start of camp will be prorated and charged the service fee. Refunds will not be issued for camp days that participants are unable to attend.
