Our industry is renowned and rightly celebrated for the amazing projects we deliver, with many awards recognizing these achievements. Karen Tatlow Garden Design is an “impressive company that has set a high bar and proves that some small sole traders can make a big impact in a competitive industry,” said judges. Despite being a part-time, one-person operation, Tatlow has delivered projects ranging from RHS show gardens in collaboration with national charities to a £250k residential garden.

The designer takes a personal approach to each project, combining exceptional listening and empathy to create outdoor spaces that reflect her clients' unique aspirations and often building lasting relationships.

Helmrig is a family-run business dedicated to supporting responsible builders of homes and communities. It ensures peace of mind and client satisfaction through maximum value, seamless execution, and proactive problem solving. Its collaborative approach begins pre-land acquisition and continues through every phase of development.

The company – which also picked up a Pro Landscaper Business Award last year – is an expert in landscaping, tree services and invasive weed management, and collaborates to support a client’s ecological and biodiversity enhancement needs.

During early 2024, a collaboration led by Helmrig delivered the initial site startup for a major new 300unit housebuilding site at Halsnead, Merseyside, for client Vistry Group. The work included landscaping, tree surgery and fencing aspects – preparing the landscape for the commencement of construction. The transfer of knowledge throughout, from one discipline to another, was outstanding, and the site was successfully handed over to the client, enabling construction works to commence in early March. helmrig.com

It has brought Nurture’s combined revenue to more than £245m and its workforce to more than 4,400 professionals.
