Grey Abbey: a modern twist on days gone by Grey Abbey is a small village in Northern Ireland, close to where Elizabeth Olwen’s grandmother lives, in a home brimming with beautiful antiques. A place where time stands still. Where tea is sipped from gorgeous china cups. A home nuzzled into the Irish countryside. This place, combined with her love for all things vintage, is the inspiration behind her Cloud9 fabric collection, Grey Abbey.

Although a little part of her heart remains in Ireland, Elizabeth lives in Toronto. Inspired by pastoral beauty, nature in its most playful forms, folklore, and romance, Elizabeth’s work is driven by the desire to leave something beautiful behind with every step she takes. She loves old wallpapers and vintage fabrics, cannot be forced to choose a favourite colour, and is hopelessly devoted to travel. She has a growing collection of licensed products available in the market, with clients like TeNeues Publishing, Wallpapered.com, Landor, Target and Madison Park Greetings.
