Minnesota’s most precious resource is its rivers and lakes. According to the DNR, 75% of Minnesotans rely on groundwater as their primary source of drinking water. It is incredibly important that we responsibly manage and protect our groundwater quality.

Floating wetlands improve water quality by removing sediments and pollutants from our surface waters while also providing an important habitat for local wildlife. They also provide an educational opportunity to learn about wetlands and connect with their ecological importance in a tangible and memorable way.
