PHINNEY RIDGE
THE COMMUNITY

A CHARMING NEIGHBORHOOD
The Phinney Ridge and Greenwood neighborhoods are located north of Fremont, between Ballard and Green Lake. The two neighborhoods, sometimes known as PhinneyWood, offer an array of shopping, coffeehouses, pubs, and restaurants, along with many community-based events. Phinney Ridge runs in between Ballard and Greenlake, separating the two cities with beautiful homes and shops. Visitors from all over Washington come to check out the
Woodland Park Zoo to visit various wildlife sanctuaries. Greenwood is a small city with a quiet nightlife, making it perfect for people who prefer a more serene setting. Greenwood hosts many community events every year that draw in large crowds. The city is the proud home of the Seafair parade as well as the Greenwood car show. Both Phinney Ridge and Greenwood have experienced a surge of newer condo and townhome development. These, alongside the existing classic Craftsman bungalows and Northwest Modern homes, offer something for single professionals, couples and growing families.
