The town was founded recently, in 1997 and has since grown in population into a bustling community. The housing market boasts some beautiful new builds at prices that are lower than the average in Seattle. KENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Kent School District is a wonderful public school district in the U S state of Washington committed to excellence and learning. The district includes a large area of Kent, a significant portion of unincorporated King County, all of Covington, and portions of Auburn, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Renton, and SeaTac. Covering 73 square miles, the Kent School District has 40 schools (28 elementary schools, six middle schools, two academy schools, and four high schools). With 26,891 enrolled students, it is the 4th largest school district in the state of Washington. The district employs 3,389 staff members, of whom 1,687 are teachers that are committed to the well-being of their students.
