CAPITOL HILL
THE COMMUNITY

Capitol Hill is a trendy and fast-paced neighborhood filled with culture, diversity, and music. Located in the center of the city, a stone’s throw from Downtown Seattle, it is known for its entertainment and bustling nightlife. The city hosts a block party every summer where the community gets together to celebrate Seattle’s rich music history with concerts and food trucks. Despite its location in the center of the city, you can find beautiful views from the West of the Space Needle and Lake Union. Although
densely populated, Capitol Hill has a decent amount of green space for parks and recreation. Volunteer Park sits atop a hill in the historic mansion district with an extraordinary 360-degree view of the greater Puget Sound area, walking trails, and a plant conservatory. Walk next door to find the burial site of the infamous Bruce Lee, buried in the Lakeview Cemetery. Follow Broadway over to Pine Street to find local shops selling vintage books, clothing, and collectibles. Capitol Hill has a variety of housing, from sleek and modern apartments to beautiful historic mansions.
