EDUCATION
The mission of the Bethel School District is to provide a safe educational environment which enables students to develop and apply the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values needed to realize their maximum potential. Bethel has 16 elementary schools (K 5), six middle schools (6 8), three comprehensive senior high schools (9 12), an alternative high school (9 12), an elementary online academy, and a school of choice (K 7). In September 2010, the Pierce County Skills Center opened its doors to district and county students.
