Description
Mechanical recycling represents an essential part of the circular economy, which transforms plastic waste into raw materials that are reintroduced into the manufacturing process to create new mechanically recycled plastic materials.
As another milestone in its circular economy strategy, ELIX Polymers has developed the mechanically recycled ABS E-LOOP H801 MR grade, an ABS modified with recycled PC
This grade has been extensively characterized, showing equivalent properties to the prime material ELIX ABS H801, which is well-known in the automotive industry for high requirement interior and exterior applications, fulfilling several OEM standards. This is in line with ELIX´s commitment to provide innovative up-cycling solutions that preserve the functionality of end customer applications in our ABS markets.
E-LOOP H801 MR offers a more sustainable solution which replaces fossil-based resources with circular and sustainable feedstocks, in addition to reducing the carbon footprint of the product.

Automotive interior parts (dark colours): Door components, instrument panel parts.
Automotive exterior parts: Front grills, exterior painted trim, pillars, spoilers.
