HOME HAVEN ON PRINCES WALK

The Stevens family had long sought a home that could provide them with both the tranquility of nature and the conveniences of modern living. When they found the house at 12 Princes Walk, nestled in Rockingham between Halifax and Bedford just across the road from the serene Bedford Basin, they knew it was the perfect fit.

The spacious family home perched grandly on a beautifully treed lot that offered a sense of seclusion while still being close to city life. Each morning, the family woke up to a view of the Basin, a peaceful reminder of their proximity to nature.

Sarah Stevens particularly loved sipping her coffee on the large deck, overlooking the private backyard. Their two children spent countless hours playing their laughter mingling with the rustling leaves of the surrounding trees. Even their dog, Bella, found joy in chasing after balls and exploring the sloping terrain.

The house, originally built in 1952, had been lovingly restored by the previous owners. The Stevens family appreciated the character and history of the home, with the modern upgrades. They loved the floor plan that had been opened up to create a functional, flowing living space; perfect for entertaining!

On weekends, the family frequently took walks up the street to the nearby Hemlock Ravine Park, a perfect place for hikes and enjoying the fresh air. And through the week, being just 10 minutes from downtown Halifax, the location was ideal for John’s commute and the children’s school activities. The Steven’s quickly fell in love with the neighborhood’s close-knit feel, with nearby access to wonderful schools and nature.

The Stevens family knew they had found their sanctuary in 12 Princes Walk—a home where they could create lasting memories while enjoying the perfect balance of nature and community.
