Christmas 2021 looks to be a very exciting time for Barnstaple with the introduction of the Christmas Village North Devon. This will be on the site of Tarka Tennis Centre at Seven Brethren in Barnstaple and will be providing an undercover real ice, ice rink (perfect for any weather conditions) as well as the best of the area’s local trade, food and craft stalls. Now it obviously wouldn’t be Christmas without Santa and of course Santa will be looking forward to welcoming you to the Christmas village too.

The village will be opening on Friday 19th November and will celebrate the weekend with live entertainment next to the skate rink by DJ Bunny Not Bonnie. The entertainment will continue throughout the Christmas period with live music and DJ’s to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

The team at Christmas Village North Devon will be supporting North Devon Hospice this year where 5% of all ice rink profits will go directly to the charity. As well as this, the team will be offering private skating sessions for the Hospice staff, residents and families in their care, that is reason alone to get booking your ice rink sessions. You can have a brilliant time with your friends and family knowing that you are also supporting a fabulous charity.

Tickets for ice skating will sell fast so why not get booking now and then after your session, start your Christmas shopping at the stands, enjoy a lovely hot drink and savour some lovely food. What a great day out!

Opening times will be 10am - 9pm, Monday - Friday and 10am - 10pm on the weekends from Friday 19th November - Monday 3rd January 2022, excluding Christmas Day!
