We are currently finalising four Baby Massage sessions at Braunton Christ Church, that we hope will start the first week of June. There will be spaces for 7-8 babies.

Contact: Connect@livewellinbraunton.co.uk and we will pass details to Early Nourishment.

Young People’s Forum

Live Well in Braunton are currently looking to create a Young People’s Forum to support young people to be heard within the community. The group will be from Year 6 up to 24 years young and depending on numbers will have subgroups, so everyone has a voice, due to the age range.

If you are a young person or know someone who would be interested contact LWIB. Please make sure the young person is aware if you are contacting on their behalf. Participation will look great on CVs, and I know from running similar forum’s it can make the difference in gaining employment, or university places!

Clubs Sports & Activity Directory

Monica is still working to update the previous directory which was produced pre covid. If you are a group or know of a group that would like to be added contact her ASAP and she will be able to add you, before it goes to print.

A great FREE way to increase awareness and attendance to some of our great groups running locally. Contact: support@livewellinbraunton.co.uk or call 0775 1313661

Help Wanted!

Community Ambassadors

We are looking for Community Ambassadors, which requires minimal commitment. The role needs you to be yourself, but if someone such as family, friends, or anyone in the neighbourhood need support, you can help them to access activities, services or refer them to Live Well in Braunton who can provide further support. You won’t be expected to spend hours helping but will be letting people know where to get advice, support or look for activities.

Buddy Walkers

This will involve attending some/all the LWIB Wellbeing walks, that are scheduled to start Weds 24th May see opposite for further details. The aim is to support people to gain the confidence, to move more and feel less isolated and then access other community groups. The requirement from volunteers is that you walk and chat within the group. If you would like further information or are interested, contact Andrea on: Connect@livewellinbraunton.co.uk
