Our club will be hosting an open day on Sunday 5th May 2024 from 10.00 till 16.00.
Everyone is welcome to join us whether you have played bowls before or not.
Coaching & Equipment will be available together with some members who will offer you help and all we ask would be that you wear flat bottomed shoes.
Tea, coffee etc will be served throughout the day and the bar will be open.
The club organises both friendly and competitive matches throughout the season together with social events and annual tours.

FEATURE
The Barnstaple Ladies Choir was formed in 1984 when several members of the disbanded Tomlin Singers decided to start a new Choir as their Musical Director had retired. Over the years our membership has steadily increased to 34 including one of the original Tomlin Choir still singing with us, she is Mary Chant, local amateur theatre leading lady and singing teacher.
After Mary retired in 2021, we were extremely lucky to find talented Lorraine Homewood who originally comes from Northern Ireland. She is an experienced piano teacher and has worked at the Royal Opera and Glyndebourne Opera. We were thrilled that in 2023 we raised over £4000 for local charities.
For our 40th Anniversary Year we are holding a Concert at the Queen's Theatre on Sunday 7th April at 7.30pm, tickets are £12 available from the Theatre Box Office. The evening will include songs from the Choir plus we have Guest Artists. These include Andrew Jeffery- who has taken the lead in several local productions and sang with D'Oyly Carte Opera. Josh Flanagan - local pianist. Harmony4Barbershop Quartet and a few other guests. The Concert is in aid of North Devon Hospice. Please come along and help us celebrate our Anniversary Year.
