I had a really funny time with both the photographer and the editor. Some of the blooper shots were hilarious. What made you become a model? I don’t know really, a few friends approached me to help them out with college projects a while back and I ended up modelling for a few clothing brands, I just like the atmosphere and generally have a laugh every time I do it. What kind of guy do you go for? Well! I don’t really have a type. I like a person who makes me laugh and I can be myself around. I like simple, real things. Do you have a celebrity crush? I don’t know! I guess I fancy Seth Rogen and James Franco. They’re two of my favourite actors and they both have very distinct looks. I like the ruggedy manly look. What is your best feature? My best feature? Personality wise I think it might be my very odd sense of humour. So who do you look up to in the world of alternative models? I think Tess Munster is absolutely beautiful and she’s such an inspiration to women.

Do you prefer clubs or gigs? I prefer gigs. No club can give you the adrenaline and euphoria that seeing your favourite person perform live can. What do you usually drink on a night out? I don’t really drink but I once in a blue moon have it large- then I like pints, bottles like Corona, Desperados and well I’ll drink anything if I’m hitting the wall haha.

The Breakfast Club, Cheech and Chong, Pineapple Express stuff like that. What food could you eat for the rest of your life? Avocado. I dunno why but I could literally eat that vomit coloured knobbly vegetable all day long. Any advice for upcoming models reading this? Don’t be anyone but yourself. If people don’t like you, fuck them. If people do like you, make sure it’s for the person you actually are inside and not the person that everyone perceives you as. Keep your head up at all times and have a bit of sassiness haha.

Tell us a bit about yourself, where you’re from and how you got started in the industry: I am originally from Thailand the land of smiles. At the age of 10 I moved to England. I settled in really well and really love the music. I enjoylistening jazz music and all types of different styles, but jazz is my pride and joy. Etta James is my all time jazz idol. I find myself learning English through music listening. At the age of 21, I started modelling. It all started with a local photographer who approached me for a photo shoot. So I thought to myself why not just give it ago. I was so excited. Getting my make up and hair done for my first ever photo shoot added to the excitement and the whole modelling experience. How would you describe your style? I wouldn’t say I’m a Thai Barbie but I’m a girly girl. I love looking my best and having great hair day. I love shopping and keeping up with trends. I am a shoeaholic... I love high heels. My favourite designer shoes has got to be Christian Louboutin, they’re very devilish and killer on a night out .

BO What was it like to work with the photographer on this shoot? Working with Andy Watson for the first time on this shoot was very exciting. As I have taken time off from modelling to focus on my management career. It was like I was reunited with the lens. Andrew was very pleasnt and fun to work with. Heâ€™s got so many ideas and very good at what he does! It was a very relaxing and fun photo shoot and I feel like this is where I belong and with help of Andy, the images looks amazing. What was your favourite part of the shoot? My favourite part of the photo shoot is when we shot on the balcony just above social venue and pubs and bars were right underneath and high rise buildings surrounded where we were. I was posing outside on the balcony (topless) and I was very scared but at the time it was a thrill. I loved every minutes of it.

Outside of modelling, do you have any other passions? I love singing and plays instruments. I play guitar and a little bit of piano. I take singing lessons on a weekly basis. Where I meet my guitarist who I am now working with on open mic events. I would like to perform in front of a big audience and hopefully I will try for X-Factor when Iâ€™m mentally prepared. What is the naughtiest thing you do? I would say it was went I egged my ex-boyfriend car when I found out he was playing dodgy game. Whatâ€™s a guaranteed turn on for you? Bradley Cooper will guaranteed turn on for me. I hope he smells nice.

So how can a guy impress you? I like a down-to-earth and romantic guy who makes me laugh and his jokes don’t have to be good but still funny. Personality is definitely a must for me, and I like a gentleman who treats a lady like she should be treated. I’m a bit old fashioned, I like nice surprise bunch of flowers and box Thorntons chocolate even if it’s not Valentines day (and shoes). If they surprised me a Louboutin pair they definitely will impress me. If you could have one superpower, what would it be? I would like to be a female Hancock. As I never get old and always powerful. Tell us something about you that people won’t know: I have a funny fingers where I can bend all my fingers backward at the same position at the same time and I don’t feel pain.

What would be your ideal night out? I’m not a party animal. Luckily you would never see me fall on my ass. I’m quite a good girl when it comes to a night out. I enjoy going to a nice quiet bar have a good chat. A nice glass of champagne cocktails will always go down well with good company. What’s the worst idea you have ever had? Another good question... I always have good ideas but it never turns out right, so most of my ideas could be rubbish. Finally, is there anything you would like to say to the Elite readers? I used to just use it for taking photos of plants, buildings and stuff! Then I started takings pictures of an ex-girlfriend. It sort of went from there really I was given my 1st SLR camera and the rest was history as they say! How long have you been a photographer? I’ve been taking photography serious for around 4 years! I’m really pleased with how things are going. How would you describe your style? Well I’m not sure how to describe my style. At the moment I’m shooting all sorts from erotic to fashion. What equipment do you use? I use a Canon 1100D and a 500w Bowens light. Who are your inspirations? I’m not really one for following certain photographers. If I see an image I love, then im a fan of that image! Who are your favourite models to work with? I think it’s a bit cruel and not fair to single out specific models. I’m just really lucky to work with the great models I have already worked with. It’s been an absolute pleasure and looking forward to working with many more great and lovely people. Do you have any advice for aspiring models? Don’t let anyone stand in the way of you’re dreams.

What are your thoughts on digital manipulation? I love editing! If it adds to the image then yes. I’m not overly keen on this fantasy art though, I think some of it looks really tacky and poorly executed! But everyone is different and everyone has their own opinions. What do you enjoy most about photography? I just love everything about photograpy! I love shooting and I love the editing! Hi Mercedes, how are you today? Hi babe! Ahh I’m fab thanks :) How was your shoot with Elite? My shoot for Elite was amazing, I loved working with Glen, his work is amazing and one of my faves. What is it like to be on our cover? It is absolutely amazing for me, I’m so happy to be gracing the elite cover! Thanks for giving me that amazing opportunity guys. Can you tell I’m scouse with the use of amazing and fab a lot haha. What made you become a model? Well, I’ve always been a little poser and loved the camera. My mum has so many photos of me where I’m overly posing as a child. She always said I was going to be a model. I was scouted at the age of 18 but I don’t think I was ready for it then. I’ve been properly modeling for a year now and enjoy every minute of it!

What kind of guy do you go for? Hmm, tricky question as I don’t have a ‘type’ because I’ve dated different types, from your local chav to an Armani model! Haha. Someone I would like to meet is a skinny but toned lad with lots of tattoos, quiffy hair and a Geordie with a bad boy attitude, is that to much to ask?! I haven’t found him yet, although I’ve been to America a lot recently and those American boys are abit of ok haha! Do you have a celebrity crush? Sorry to say guys but it’s Justin bieber haha, arghh love his new changed attitude lately, and his new tatts. I also love Beckham, but who dosent. What is your best feature? My eyes and bottom. I don’t look up to anyone really, but if I had to say someone I would say the georgeous Arabella Drummond, because she’s doing it for the small boobied tattooed girls!! What makes a good night out, great? Having a McDonald’s at the end. Haha I’m sorry but I just love my food so much, and have a tantrum at the end of a night out if I don’t go to McDonalds! Do you prefer clubs or gigs? Clubs of course. Because they are open to silly hours so more drinking and dancing time for me! What do you usually drink on a night out? I’m a Jack and coke girl, but when I’m trying to be posh I drink amaretto sourz. It’s my fave cocktail and you don’t realise it’s getting you drunk! Then all of a sudden I’m on the floor haha whoops! Do you stop for a kebab or take away on the way home? Always without fail. Nothing better than pigging out on a good takeaway at the end. What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? Hmm a lot of embarrassing things have happened to me because I’m such a clumsy person. But I’m going to have to say it was when I was 16 trying to get into a nightclub on someone else’s ID. The queue was huge behind me. The guy took the ID and started to ask me questions about it. He said, ‘what year where you born?’ Oh god, I didn’t revise it properly and said, ‘21st of the tenth’ and then paused and then said ‘74’ out of nerves. He was like, ‘so that makes you 40 odd, leave please’. My friends all started laughing then we had to walk past the huge queue, ahh I was only a baby! That was embarrassing.

Hi Zoe how are you? How was it like working with Elite? Hello, I’m really good thank you. It was absolutely faaaantastic! Where might we have seen you before? You might have seen me working with drwimages (Andy Watson) or even Front Magazine. One noticeable thing about you is your awesome tattoos! Which are your favourites? I couldn’t possibly choose, I love them all... It’s kind of nice to look back at them and remember why you had certain things because they meant something at the time. Plus I’ve got plenty of space still! Haha. You are also known for your sense of style, what is a good outfit for our Zoe? My ‘safe outfit’ tends to be my Levi shorts, crop top and trainers… Can’t go wrong. What would you say is your best feature? Maybe my bum, it gets the most compliments! :D Do you have a particular taste in men? I wouldn’t say I have a taste exactly, I like anybody that has something extra about them.There’s nothing sexier than confidence! Any celebrity crushes? I’ve got a thing for Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens front man) I don’t know what it is but I just fancy him so much! Can you believe its Autumn already? What has been your favourite part of the year, so far? I know! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone, it’s crazy! This year has been really good to me actually, I’ve started getting involved with a lot more shoots, I’ve been doing more promotional work outside of my job and I’ve been partying a lot more. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this year. My favourite part of this year was either skiing in Andorra or Parklife Festival in Manchester, both amazing!

How are you spending the rest of the year? Well I’ve got just over two months here until I move out to Cervinia, so I’m trying to spend as much time as I can with friends n family. Hopefully going to Scarefest at Alton Towers and a big shoot before I leave. But you might not see it until Christmas! So how do you have a great night out in The Midlands? I don’t really go out in Wolverhampton as much as I used to anymore, I work in Birmingham so I tend to be there a lot. A great night out for me would involve my sister, good friends, good music, good vibes. What’s your favourite drink? I love Rum , preferably The Kraken… Mmm. Do you prefer gigs or night clubs? There’s nothing better than going to see your favourite bands live, the atmosphere at gigs is amazing. Have you heard any terrible chat up lines? Is that a mirror in your pants ? ‘Cause I can see myself in ‘em. Do you get a kebab on the way home? No! I go to a 24 hour shop for more alcohol for the after party! What is next in store for Zoe McGarry? I’m moving to Italy to work in November, but when I come back who knows!

Hi Lesley, how are you today? Hi guys, I’m great thank you very much! Very excited to finally be in Elite! How was your experience with Elite? Absolutely fabulous! Had an amazing shoot with Rowan Murray and great chatting to you guys about the feature! What made you become a model? I was actually a lapdancer when I went for my first photo shoot and never actually thought of myself as a model, I had a few more shoots with friends then sent my images off to an agency and things went up from there! I’m now signed to Spirit Models and Dark Arts Alternative Agency. I kind of fell in to it and I’m glad I did.

What kind of guy do you go for? I like pretty boys! Theres always something hot about guy with a gorgeous smile, a nice body and who looks like he looks after himself! But then on the other side I have a bit of a thing for a guy covered in tattoos, a slick hairstyle and a nice thick beard! They’re the bad boys though! Do you have a celebrity crush? It’s Scroobius Pip. The things I would do to that man. Unreal! What is your best feature? My best feature I would have to say are my eyes or my lips. They’re definitely my favourites anyway! People pay good money to have lips like mine, but mine are all natural! I would love something like light brown eyes or hazel eyes.

So who do you look up to in the world of alternative models? There are so many girls I look up to and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting them and becoming quite good friends with them. Jemmy J and Lucy Logan are two girls who I massively look up to and I think the fact they have such lovely personalities as well as being beautiful makes them amazing people in my eyes. What makes a good night out, great? Sailor Jerry’s and Diet Coke with a squeeze of lime! But besides the alcohol, being with your best friends, no drama, not being pestered by loads of people, and for God’s sake, NO TEARS!

Do you prefer clubs or gigs? I prefer clubs hands down! I love to dance and I love to be in the middle of a crowd getting my groove on! As you can imagine I stand out quite a bit and tend to get stared at a lot and positive comments made about my tattoos, but when you’re in a club in the smoke and on the dance floor you can have a good dance without anyone caring! What do you usually drink on a night out? Either Vodka and Cranberry Juice or Sailor Jerry’s and Diet Coke but if I’m at the pub I usually have Guinness and blackcurrant! Do you stop for a kebab or take away on the way home? I used to but then I had a bad experience at my favourite kebab shop and was up half the night being sick! So now I steer clear and make sure there’s popcorn waiting for when I get home! What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? Most embarrassing thing that’s happened to me has to be when I got a bit carried away with someone in a public place and security were waiting outside where we were, that wasn’t the embarrassing part, the embarrassing part was security giving the guy a wink and nudge and saying ‘good on you mate’!

What movie do you watch when you are ill? Mouline Rouge, Chicago or Burlesque. I’m a sucker for musicals. What food could you eat for the rest of your life? Steak or anything meat related. Funnily enough it was Bilacous who I had my first shoot with. I hadn’t thought of trying modelling before he randomly said he wanted to shoot me when I posted one of my ‘shameless selfies’ on my IG account (@sugarscar *just sayin*) when I first had my chest piece done. He had mentioned it a few times when we were all out as friends. After my first shoot I was so shocked at the response and because I just see Bilacous as a friend I guess I didn’t realize how well known he is in the industry. What kind of guy do you go for? Usually the shy and socially awkward type. For example, a group of hyper excited lads, there’s usually one that seem like he doesn’t quite look like he fits in, doesn’t yell like his friends just laugh at their comments and they use him as their sauce of jokes. That stands at the back looking uncomfortable when his friends are trying to chat up girls. THAT is the guy I go for!

Do you have a celebrity crush? Angelina Jolie. Always has been and always will be! So, how was it shooting with Daisy? Working with Daisy was awesome! It was that first time we proper hung out but it felt like we regularly get into out knicks and roll around together! It was a very sexy and fun shoot! What is Daisys best feature? Eyes! I’ve never in my life met someone that when you’re having a casual conversation with them, you lose complete track of what they’re saying because you’re trying to work out how a human can have eyes a colour that amazing! I think she secretly might be a wolf. :P What is your best feature? For me I’d probably say my best feature is either my lips or my butt. They’re the things people seem to comment on the most. So who do you look up to in the world of alternative models? SINderella. She’s breathtakingly beautiful! I adore her sexy elegance. What makes a good night out, great? Definitely no drama. What movie do you watch when you are ill? American Gangster. Always!

Do you prefer clubs or gigs? Depends what mood I’m in really. As long as I’m with the right people, I could have a great time in a large bin. Not that I’m ever in the mood to sit in a large bin or a small bin for that matter. What do you usually drink on a night out? Gin and tonic or wine. If I want a bit of a messy night then cider all the way because it’s the most delicious pint sized way to drunken excitement. If we’re all out as friends, Bilicous will make sure no one escapes his deadly jager bombs! Do you stop for a kebab or take away on the way home? Usually we’d order pizza when getting home but last time I did actually stop to have a giant kebab and chips and I am not ashamed to say it was FUCKING LIFE CHANGING.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? It was quite embarrassing during this shoot when we had to leave the comfort of the boutique hotel bedroom to walk down the road to a public rose garden wearing our bondage corset dresses and pearls. Beautiful sunshine means families. So there was hundreds of families with young children or students watching us walk through to get to the rose garden. A lot of middle aged husbands got the stare of doom from their wives! Any advice for upcoming models reading this? Consider what you want your work to look like and the levels you want to go and do not break it. Most importantly... have Fun!

Modelling is something I’ve always wanted to try. After my first shoot with Bilacous I not only gained the confidence to go for the modelling but I bagged myself a boyfriend, cheeky bonus ;) So, how was it shooting with Rosie? Great fun! I felt really comfortable getting up close and personal with her, we had a right giggle. What is Rosies best feature? Her eyes, I kept making her laugh cause I was staring into them so much. What is your best feature? I get complimented a lot about having unique eyes. What makes a good night out, great? If the company’s entertaining and the vodka’s flowing it’s always a great night.

When I was clubbing once a rather large gentleman fell on top of me, he conveniently couldn’t get off me so I just had to lay there crushed and helpless until some kind onlookers came to my rescue and got him off me. He then had the cheek to ask me for my number. I won’t repeat what I called him! What movie do you watch when you are ill? Madagascar, it never fails to put a smile on my face. Hi Dolly, how are you today? Hi, I am feeling good back in Australia but missing UK a bit. How was your experience with Elite? The photographer I worked with was one of the best photographers I’ve ever worked with, we had a ball. I am loving the mag to! We don’t really have anything like it in Oz. What made you become a model? I was bored one day and I did a bit of modelling as a teenager and thought I would try out for a competiton for a site called Wild Girls which is full of inked girls. I won and had a photo shoot a couple of months after. The photographer was telling me I should get into it full time and that I would go far, so I got my port together and went from there :) What kind of guy do you go for? Inked, musical, funny, down to earth, honest and loyal... Do you have a celebrity crush? Let’s just say I could watch Jax in Sons of Anarchy a trillion times and never get bored. What is your best feature? I don’t know people say my bum ha. So who do you look up to in the world of alternative models? SARA FABEL! She’s a goddess! I would love to meet her one day. She’s very inspiring.
