If you associate acne with teenagers, you’re not wrong. Adolescence creates the perfect storm for acne breakouts — hormone imbalance, stress, poor hygiene, and processed foods. However, if you thought you could cross acne off your list of things to deal with in adulthood, you’d be wrong. Many adults have acne, and if you’re one of them, we have good news. At Southwest Family Medicine Associates (SFMA), our extensive team of holistic physicians understands the myriad causes of adult acne and the physical and emotional damage it can create. Here, we take a closer look at the reasons acne continues into adulthood — or shows up for the first time — and how you can get rid of it without resorting to medication. All acne breakouts begin as clogged pores. When dirt, oil, and dead skin cells get stuck in your hair follicles, your skin mounts a defense and sends reinforcements to attack the debris. This results in different types of acne, like whiteheads, blackheads, cysts, and nodules. Because all acne stems from clogged pores, which can occur at any age, adults can get acne, too. How to Get Rid of Acne MedicationWithout
There are several common causes of acne in adults. Poor hygiene allows small particles that land on the skin to stay there and clog your pores, which is why it’s important to wash your face and clean your skin. Hormones fluctuate in adults just like they do in teenagers, and woman especially are at risk for hormoneinduced acne as they menstruate, get pregnant, breastfeed their babies, and go through menopause. Some medications can have acne as a side effect, and other times adults can get acne from the dirty air pollution or from eating certain foods. At SFMA, we treat your acne with an individual approach. We start with a complete examination of your skin, a discussion about your symptoms, a dive into your personal and family health history, an assessment of all medications and supplements you take, and a list of what you’ve tried, what works, and what doesn’t.
Armed with this information, we can diagnose the type of acne you have and develop a treatment plan. This may include some lifestyle changes and a new skin care routine. It may also include Fotona laser treatments. This safe and effective treatment uses Nd:YAG laser light to penetrate your skin’s outer layers and target the oil glands below. By reducing the oil production, Fotona can help prevent future acne breakouts. This treatment also triggers production of new collagen, which is one of the proteins that gives your skin its structure and resilience, so your skin heals and Toremodels.discuss treating your acne with any of the options we provide, call our staff at Southwest Family Medicine Associates or book online

The Speak Out Act Ignores Victims’ Right to PrivateRemain By Sally C. Pipes

That goal is admirable. But as written, the legislation -- the Speak Out Act, which was introduced in both the House and Senate in recent weeks -will force victims to go public, even if they don’t want to. That’s hardly pro-women. Many victims prefer to settle claims out-of-court to avoid both the costs and inevitable publicity of Supporterslitigation. claim the measure targets pre-dispute non-disclosure and nondisparagement agreements. These agreements are incredibly common when someone begins a new job – more than one in three U.S. workers are bound by such agreements. Supporters of the Speak Out Act applaud the bill for banning the enforcement of such agreements in instances of sexual harassment or assault. Dig into the details of the Speak Out Act, however, and it becomes clear that the bill is written much more broadly than that. The legislation defines the term “pre-dispute” as any agreement that is signed before a lawsuit is filed -- even if that agreement is reached weeks, months, or years after the incident occurred. That’s a problem because many out-of-court settlements involve their own agreements.non-disclosureThebillwould effectively invalidate these NDAs. Only agreements reached after litigation has commenced -- where the claims are publicized in court, complete with lawyers -- could have enforceable NDAs. In other words, the bill would make it virtually impossible for employees to settle sexual harassment or assault claims out of court. That hardly counts as progress -- unless you’re a trial Forlawyer.one, lawsuits tend to be an expensive undertaking. Despite significant litigation costs and attorneys’ fees, they don’t always yield justice for the average person. That’s not to mention the personal costs that litigation can exact on claimants. Many victims of sexual assault or harassment would rather not make their claims public -which a lawsuit requires. More than that, the discovery process in these lawsuits can be stressful -- and may reveal embarrassing personal details the claimant would rather keep private. For all these reasons, many victims of workplace sexual misconduct prefer to leave the courts out of it -- and instead reach a private settlement with their employer. Under the Speak Out Act, this sort of approach will no longer be available. Any worker who wishes to resolve their claim for workplace sexual misconduct will need to hire a lawyer, file a lawsuit, and endure the uncertainties, stresses, and costs of litigation. Add all these costs up, and it’s possible that the Speak Out Act could result in more women remaining silent. Even if the Speak Out Act weren’t so poorly written, it would remain a troubling instance of congressional overreach. It’s far from clear that lawmakers have the authority to nullify private agreements signed between workers and their employers, even if their intent is to help victims of sexual assault and harassment. Sexual assault and harassment victims deserve every opportunity to seek justice. But the Speak Out Act doesn’t advance that goal. Sally C. Pipes is President, CEO, and Thomas W. The 6-3 decision to reverse Roe v. When the young man heard this, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Recently Brazilian President Jair Bonsonaro gave actor Leonardo DiCaprio a lecture on hypocrisy, The People’s Report: The Rich Young Ruler and The MovementGreen telling the virtue-signaling actor that he should ‘give up his yacht before lecturing the world’ about the environment. In January there are pictures of DiCaprio and his friends on his $150 million dollar yacht kicking it up. This yacht, which is the largest yacht manufactured in Great Britain produces more Carbon Dioxide per mile than a car produces in two months even in heavy traffic. It burns about 300 gallons of diesel per hour and he and the rest of the rich ‘Greenies’ have the unmitigated gall to lecture us the peeps on greenhouse emissions and saving the planet. REALLY! In addition, all the materials used in an electric battery are stripped from the earth using heavy industrial equipment that uses fossil fuels all in places that are unfriendly to Western countries. Hence the fascination of taking down Russia and China and our imperialistic agenda in other unfriendly places.

There is a parable in the Bible of Yeshua/Jesus talking to the rich young ruler. The Rich young ruler had plenty of possessions; he claimed he did not break any commandments and was an outstanding citizen who loved people and helped people. Then Yeshua/Jesus said “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

The president of Brazil in a tweet war with the actor said this. “I could tell you, again, to give up your yacht before lecturing the world, but I know progressives: you want to change the entire world but never yourselves, so I will let you off the hook.” Next up we have the Sons of Perdition alias the World Economic Forum members all filthy rich telling us the peeps that we should give up eating meat because cows pollute the air with their manure and we should eat BUGS; for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hot sauce from the black market, stop showering it wastes water and takes electricity/gas to heat the water. But again, just like in the BIBLE parable of the Rich young ruler hypocrite. Here’s another passage in the Bible, about the ‘eye of the needle and rich people’. In case you didn’t know the ‘eye of the needle’ it was an arched gateway when one comes into the city. Most rich people rode on camels with their possessions piled high on the camel, therefore the possession on the camel could not fit through the archway. After watching the film, I had the pleasure of interviewing London Williams, ‘Bid For Love’ career in the film industry started as a floor manager with the Dallas Community Television years ago, and today he walks in big shoes as a filmmaker. Well, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, his family’s business, ‘Williams Family ABE (Arts, Business and Education) is connected to this industry where he continues to play the role as a Althoughproducer.it’shard work, it pays off with the definitive goal being a successful outcome. From planning to managing various aspects of the film, ‘Bid For Love,’ producer shared some nifty insights about why he instantaneously wanted to produce the film. One important reason was because the film addressed mental health. He also shared his interest in the script. “As a producer, when I read a script, I’m looking to see if the story is uniquely original and has market viability. I then work with my 1st AD to break it down for budgetary purposes. This script definitely had all of the aspects a producer looks Whenfor.”
COVID 19 shut the world down in 2020, the entertainment business was affected drastically, and coming back up was a lot of uncertainty. Williams said the film crew faced no major “Weproblems.didnot face any major challenges except for the typical things that come with the territory. For instance, actors’ availability, schedule changes, weather delays and location changes. Those challenges are normal in this business,” expressed Williams. “The film and project exceeded expectations. We shot this film in under 15 days and was able to get distribution and air it a year later. That’s almost record time in this industry. With great reviews, we have opportunities to make this bigger than what we thought.” He also added how well he worked with the film director. “Arthur Muhammad and I worked well together. As they say, you work with people for their expertise, trust them and get out of their way,” My time getting to know Williams was captivating and he is definitely ready for the work cut out for him. London Williams said it best for others like him to follow, “Find partners early and forge those relationships and begin Forproducing.”thosewho live in Dallas, you know it’s a growing city of big dreams, and no matter what, Williams will continue to produce films here. “Dallas is home to me. Yes I will continue to produce films for our market as long as the crew and talent thrives here. It would be great if the film commission could have more incentives in place for independent productions.” Ongoing, it seems to me, Williams is up to something great down the pipeline. While he is looking forward to Part II and the TV series, he is producing another film, ‘Twelve,’ coming soon and without mentioning the details, we are in for a twist.
