“THEY CAN EXPECT BOOTS-ON-THE-GROUND EXPERIENCE THAT CAN REALLY HELP THEM”

“They can expect boots-onthe-ground experience that can really help them,” adds English. “Insightful content from those that have experienced pain points themselves. One of our number one rules for our speakers and panellists, is that we want them to provide something that the audience may not have heard before to really connect with them. Tell us something that we don’t know. Not something that I can look up online.

“We’re talking about the challenges that businesses currently face like, for instance, the transformation of the tech sector at the moment, which centres around finding the right talent, training and retention. There’s also AI. There’s a deluge of data and business owners just don’t know what to do with it. So what better than to get people that have been through this experience, know how to do it and deliver that information to them?

“And it’s also very entertaining. There will inevitably be some content the audience has heard before but they will, without a doubt, be able to find some golden nuggets that they can bring back to their business that will make a difference.”

There are a number of ways to register for the event. You can sign up at Elitebusinessevent. co.uk/register. It’s completely free. And if you want news updates about the industry, and regular content from some of the panellists, you can find their monthly columns on Elite Business online.

Given the transformation of the event over the last ten years, it is hard to anticipate what the next ten hold in store for EBL, but English promises more growth and innovation in line with what the audience demands.

“We are always looking at ways that we can build that close connection with our speakers and panellists, even if people can’t be in the room with them.

“We’re trying to work around what’s best for business owners so they can get the information that they need, without necessarily having to attend a two day event to do it. But they can still get those great connections, and that great content. So, bigger speakers, better venues and who knows? We may take the format international.”

Now, wouldn’t that be something?
