10 YEARS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH ELITE BUSINESS LIVE

ENTHUSIASM for large-scale expos and events comes and goes and if you add in the innovation brought by digital technology, staying light on your toes as an event organiser has become increasingly challenging.

Celebrating a tenth anniversary in the event space is therefore no mean feat, and Elite Business Live has certainly been on a transformative journey over its last decade.

From a large-scale, Londonbased expo to today’s UK-wide interactive experience that provides a stage for the UK’s leading entrepreneurial minds, the event has evolved rapidly through necessity and as a response to the sector.

“It has evolved hugely because of the digital transformation in the marketplace, explains MD of organiser CEMG, Scott English. “When we first launched our event, it was at the old Truman brewery in Shoreditch. It was very much exhibition-led. We were quite new in the SME exhibition space, and there was a lot going on in the industry. So, it was really, really hard.

“The reason we launched Elite Business Live is because we had a very popular online content portal. And one of the things that we always got continuously asked about was how people could connect or feel like they were connected with the entrepreneurs, especially the celebrity entrepreneurs and the thought leaders in the UK who wrote for us.
