he late nights, six-day intensive weeks, and six-month-long tours don’t feel like an overwhelming schedule to dancer Angela Xiao. What for many of us would be a great personal sacrifice, for her is a life well-lived. “I don’t like wasting time,” said Xiao, who has been dancing for ten years with the world’s premier classical Chinese dance company, Shen Yun Performing Arts. Exuding a fascinating mix of bubbliness and sincerity, she said that she feels lucky to be doing something purposeful; in fact, sometimes on vacation, she doesn’t know what to do with her time. Xiao loves the excitement of touring—trying new foods and learning new things—but after nearly a

A WELL-CURATED MENU The menu at missKOREA includes a wide variety of barbecued meats, each with its own distinctive appeal. These include dry-aged rib eye, beef rib, beef bulgogi, beef tongue, thin-sliced beef brisket, pork ribs, pork belly, and more. missKOREA’s signature dish is the Clay Pot Galbi, which is made from short ribs and marinated in its own original sauce, before being placed in a special clay pot for over 48 hours. 寶馬（BMW) 汽車衰落 已難挽回 文 宋仁
其實寶馬公司走下坡路已經有幾年了，只是近年來，由 於歐洲對汽車排放標準的要求提高，使得市場對燃柴 油的轎車需求持續減少，加上大眾汽車的巨大醜聞， 使得全球消費者對德國汽車廠商的信譽大打折扣。這 對於以高價位車為主的寶馬品牌而言，是非常不利的。 當然也不光是寶馬，奔馳（Mercedes-Benz）一 樣受影響。但是因為奔馳有在卡車生產方面的巨大優 勢，而能有時間緩一緩，寶馬則沒有多少緩衝、騰挪空 間來調整這條巨艦。 寶馬雖然屬下有眾多品牌：BMW、Mini、RollsRoyce 和摩托車品牌 BMW Motorrad，但 Mini 一年 銷售只有 30 萬美金左右，且對象是職業婦女。這一群 體非常難搞定，她們的口味經常變，其中車型太小、不 太安全就是致命傷。 Rolls-Royce 一年也就是 3 千輛 左右，寶馬摩托一年產 10 幾萬輛。所以公司還得靠寶 馬品牌一年 200 多萬輛的銷售行走天下。 除了因難民潮、脫歐、內部離心力大增等因素，使 得歐洲近幾年在世人眼中的地位越來越低外，寶馬汽 車本身犯的幾個致命錯誤，是導致公司走下坡路的主要 原因： 寶馬過於集中在擁擠的豪華車市場拚殺 二戰過後，美國一枝獨秀，歐洲由於馬歇爾計畫，率先 復興。德國知道美國工會強大，汽車質量必定不過硬， 豪華車的錢最好賺，所以蜂擁而至，但卻忘了後面還有 個日本。中產階層這塊最後在其最重要的美國市場，丟
