Through the work of three artists, the exhibition explores the multiplicity of time — how it folds, stretches, and reverberates through memory, matter, and meaning. In their dialogue, time ceases to be measured; it is felt — embodied in gesture, colour, and form. For Noga, time becomes personal memory translated into form — the smoky blue of a jazz club, the geometry of a childhood recollection. His layered surfaces echo the fragile rhythm of remembering: gestures that oscillate between intuition and structure, chance and control. Linda Khatri approaches time as a meditative process — a space of tension and renewal. Her works inhabit the threshold between painting and sculpture, presence and transcendence. Through their interplay of solidity and softness, they invite the viewer to experience painting not as an object, but as an encounter — a moment suspended between con ict and release. In Stephen Jaques’ practice, time manifests as perpetual reinvention — a search for alchemical transformation. His forms emerge from cycles of destruction and rebirth, binding together fragments of history, architecture, and symbolism. The work becomes a living organism: energy, colour, and intuition in constant ux.

Linda Khatri (b. 1972) is an American artist based in London whose practice explores the dynamic intersection of painting and sculpture, creating a compelling dialogue in spatial composition. She works with the goal of encouraging viewers to see painting differently - not just as something to look at, but to experience.

Khatri's subject matter navigates themes of religion, con ict, and reincarnation; concepts she expresses through the interplay of bold, hard-edged forms and soft blending shapes of colour. Central to her practice is a sustained investigation of suppressed tension and unresolved con ict, which she approaches as a meditative process of renewal and rebirth.

Laurence Noga was born (and lives and works) in London and is an artist curator and writer. He graduated from Byam Shaw, Central St Martins 1991. He was shortlisted for the John Moores Painting Prize in 2018 and exhibits widely. Noga lectures for the University of the Arts London (UAL). He belongs to the APT community of artists in South London. Noga’s approach explores a personal iconography and phenomenology. The choice of colour and structure comes from his memory of his childhood. Left sitting in smoky jazz clubs listening to my mum sing. Or visits to his dad’s work, restaurants such as Le Caprice. He is drawn towards the intangible and intimate nature between painting, collage, and assemblage, exploring and utilising unexpected combinations of multi-level colour and surface construction. Physical processes uctuate between instinctive decisions (often with collage) collisions of geometry and the unpredictability/predictability of colour relationships. LAURENCE NOGA

Stephen Jaques was born in Derby, after Art college he moved to London setting up a studio with fellow artists in Dalston. A founder member of APT Studios he has exhibited widely in the UK and Europe. Exhibitions include the Saatchi Gallery and Ruskin University.
