The Royal Wedding

Prince William married Kate Middleton on 29th April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London.

Two billion people watched the wedding on TV. Thousands of people celebrated on the streets of London.

Six hundred guests came to the lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace. There were two wedding cakes; a fruit cake with sugar flowers and a chocolate and biscuit cake!

In the evening there was another party with 300 guests.
