Clean water and sanitation / Affordable and clean energy What do you use tap water for throughout the day? • To drink • To take a shower • To water the plants • To wash salad • To cook pasta and rice • To brush your teeth • To flush the toilet You probably do lots of these things every day and for each one of them you need tap water: clean, drinkable and safe water. Does that seem normal to you? Unfortunately, it isn’t a normal occurrence for everyone. Many people in the world don’t have access to drinking or safe water where they live (cities, towns, isolated houses…). By using contaminated water people easily get sick!
