FUTURE IMPACT OF THE PALASPORT AND MILANO SANTA GIULIA

The future impact is not the conclusion; however, it’s only the beginning for what the whole studies, analysis, research, design. and choices in architecture will bring to Milano Santa Giulia and to the sport hall itself. Such project tackles the problem of the void left in Milano South-East, reviving the city with a vibrant masterplan, livable conditions, modern atmosphere, full of sports, activities, events, and various facilities for a great memorable and enjoyable time in the new district of Santa Giulia. The sport hall will remain the focal point of the whole project, working on daily basis, hosting infinite events with various scenarios. Such project responds to modern-day use of large infrastructures, a charming neighbor for a residential district, a sport hall for day games, a house for the fans to cheer, support, live the game and enjoy it as well. Milano Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena is not a project for the Olympics, it is a project to shape the city and direct Milano and contemporary architecture in the new direction. Our choices were made according to recent and most innovative technologies which allow for a huge impact on different scales. The sport hall will impress in the Olympics games and will dominate in later days.
