01. MOUNTING OF BINDING

Mounting of bindingwooden bodies

The instruction below shows how to mount rollerski bindings on all Swenor rollerskis with wooden laminate bodies.

You measure up to the rear hole you are going to drill.

Rottefella rollerski binding: 75 mm

SNS Prolink rollerski binding: 90 mm

This illustration above shows where to start drilling.

When mounting in wood laminate, a 3.6 x 11 mm drill bit is used.

Remember to use two-component glue for all wooden laminate bodies.

Montering av bindingaluminum bodies

All Swenor aluminum rolleskis are pre-drilled for Rottefella og Salomon Prolink rollerski bindings.

1) Adjust the binding according to boot size.

2) Place the rear holes of the binding on top of the rear pre-drilled holes.

3) The front holes of the binding will now fit perfectly on top of the correct pre-drilled holes.

Loosen the nuts and remove the wheel. 02 Remove the washers from both sides.

03 Place the wheel on a suitable surface and remove the rear axel with a rubber hammer.

The ball bearing on the opposite side will follow the axel out of the hub sleeve.

05 Turn the wheel around and repeat the process in order to get the second bearing out.

Add a thin layer of grease on the sidewalls of the hub sleeve. Insert the first bearing with the help of a sleeve.

Turn the wheel around and insert the axel.

Thread the second bearing onto the axel.

Use the sleeve to tap the bearing into place. Place washers on both sides.Place nuts on both sides. 10

Place the skis upside down in a pair of vices. Make sure the wheel is placed as far down in the (fork) groove as possible. Lightly tighten the nut on the side shown in the picture.

Firmly tighten the nut on the opposite side. Hold the wheel in place while doing so, to prevent the axel from rotating. Finally, fasten the nut on the first side

Make a few light punches on each side of the wheel in order to release tension.

Loosen the nuts and remove the wheel. 02

Remove the washers from both sides.

The ball bearing on the opposite side will follow the axel out of the hub sleeve.

Turn the wheel around and repeat the process in order to get thesecond bearing out.

Place the wheel on a suitable surface and use a mandrel and rubber hammer to remove the front axel.

Add a thin layer of grease on the sidewalls of the hub sleeve. Insert the first bearing with the help of a sleeve.

Turn the wheel around and insert the axel. 08 Thread the second bearing onto the axel.

Place washers on both sides.

Place a second washer and a bolt on one side and a nut on the other side.

Make sure the wheel is placed as far down in the (fork) groove as possible. Fasten the nut securely and tighten properly.

Use the sleeve to tap the ball bearing into place.

Make a few light punches on each side of the wheel in order to release tension.

04. ADJUSTMENT OF ROLLING DIRECTION

Swenor´s wheel system is a very solid and uncomplicated construction. Rollerskis that pull to the side, can easily be corrected by striking the bolts with a pen hammer.

Check the directional stability by rolling the skis 3-4 metres along a straight line on a (completely) level surface. Observe the direction of the skis and use the instructions below to make adjustments.

REAR WHEEL PULLS TO THE RIGHT

Strike the bolt as shown in the picture. If this is not sufficient, strike the bolt on the opposite side of the wheel, in the opposite direction (see arrow).

REAR WHEEL PULLS TO THE LEFT

Strike the bolt as show in the picture. If this is not sufficient, strike the bolt on the opposite side of the wheel, in the opposite direction (see arrow).

FRONT WHEEL PULLS TO THE LEFT

Strike the bolt as show in the picture. If this is not sufficient, strike the bolt on the opposite side of the wheel, in the opposite direction (see arrow).

FRONT WHEEL PULLS TO THE RIGHT

Strike the bolt as show in the picture. If this is not sufficient, strike the bolt on the opposite side of the wheel, in the opposite direction (see arrow).
