The Norte Summer Bike Camp is a week-long halfday camp, dedicated to helping kids become more confident, responsible, safe riders through adventures all around the Grand Traverse area. SAFER OUTSIDE. 2020 couldn't stop kids on bikes. Thanks to all our mask-wearing superheroes: kids, guardians, 12 coaches, and 19 Liderato assistant coaches, who ensured we had a safe outdoor summer. And we're especially grateful to Norte's COVID-19 Task Force, TBA Credit Union for sponsoring our hand washing stations, and every dedicated guardian who filled out our daily health screening. "We love Norte and their mission. This camp was just what he needed coming out of quarantine and social distancing. Our family rides a lot together and this camp has made me, as a mom, feel more comfortable with him riding in our neighborhood."

BIKES BUILDING COMMUNITY. Studies show that kids' experience finding their way in a community builds their mental map, no matter how long they've lived there. By taking our Bike Camp students on many routes in the Traverse City area, we're building Grand Traverse students' knowledge of their home, and teaching others about this amazing area, while building connection all the way.
