WELCOME Meeting Called to Order at 6:32 Board Present: Chris Hinze, Ryan Schrock, Anthony Rupard, Greg Luyt, Eric Mannix, Sue Paul, Jim Witte, Ty Schmidt, Evan Gray, Chelsea Bay Dennis Absent: Staff Present: Gary Howe, Jessie Wiliams, Wes Sovis.

Schmidt: Three stories in three minutes. 1) Jeremiah came to us for some redemption and he worked with John Deely at Spring Work Bee. 2) Kathy Wilkinson in Kalkaska rallied to have Norte in the Trout Festival parade, big deal for happy, healthy, strong representation. 3) Brook was engaged by Norte’s communications and became the first female bike mechanic and joined el Colectivo. Feedback on telling better stories and impact is welcome.

Jessie Williams, Communication Coordinator: Provided success story from Plant Northern Michigan and why it meant so much to her Wes Sovis, Donor Relations Specialist: Shared an increase from 40 to 80 monthly donors for April campaign.

Hoping for 200 monthly donors in the next couple of months. Looking to measure our retention rate and thinking it is around 90% currently. Volunteer story: Mary Beth, volunteer steps up to stick with reluctant kid at last week’s Mt. Bike Camp. Award worthy.

Greg Luyt provided a Financial Report. Current budget is on target with projections.

Motion to approve Financial Report made by Gray and seconded by Bay Dennis.

Motion carried without objection. _ Ryan Schrock, COVID-19 Task Force: Provided update on last recommendations for Bike Month and continued vigilance in monitoring, mitigating the exposure risk for Norte programs. Next Task Force meeting is May 13, 2021.
