Mr. Semanik holds a doctoral degree in orchestral conducting from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Michigan. He was a member of the conducting class at the Tanglewood Music Center and a recipient of the Bruno Walter Scholarship at the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music.

Integrity School of Dance was founded by Elisabeth S. Mccoy and Kelly Hill in May of 2013, and will be presenting their 10th recital, CELEBRATE, in June of 2023!

Our mission is to encourage the development of the whole student from proper dance technique to personal confidence. Our goal is to inspire our students to excel as individuals through the grace of dance. All of our classes are taught by over 15 professional artists who provide individual encouragement and attention to each student. Integrity’s studios are conveniently located in Elgin and teach over 8 classes for recreational dancers (ages 1 18 yrs) as well as competitive dancers. All dancers participate in the annual recital and Youth, Teen, Junior and Senior Company dancers also attend 3 annual competitions. Integrity offers a wide variety of genres, as well as tap and BeMoved for adults, beginner dance for tweens, dance team technique, musical theatre, specialized birthday parties, parent night out, and various themed camps. Integrity is a great place to dance for fun or focus on a dedicated path!

Integrity also believes that a strong foundation in ballet is necessary to excel in many genres. In an effort to celebrate this passion, we are proud to present our 2 nd annual excerpts from The Nutcracker. It is with gratitude and honor to present this year’s performance alongside the artistic excellence of The Elgin Symphony Orchestra!

The Elgin Master Chorale is a cultural cornerstone of Elgin and the Fox Valley. Under the direction of Maestro Andrew Lewis, EMC is comprised of volunteer singers from across the Fox Valley, who share a passion for choral masterworks and other fine choral repertoire. EMC was formed in 1947, under the name Elgin Choral Union, when local musician Dean Chipman had a vision of a large vocal ensemble to perform Brahms’ famed German Requiem. His dream became reality when 192 singers from over 15 local choirs joined together to give voice to this grand work.

The organization changed its name to Elgin Master Chorale in 2014 to better reflect our mission emphasis on musical excellence. Now celebrating our seventy sixth season, EMC continues to bring beautiful and innovative choral music to Elgin and the Fox Valley.
