Southwold Prehistoric Earthworks is the only archaeological site of its kind in Canada. Its double mounds of earth are the remains of a Neutral village inhabited around 1500 AD. Enjoy the many species of birds as you stroll on the ‘War to Roses’ walking trail at the Fingal Wildlife Management Area, symbolically named in reference to the site’s past as a World War II training facility. The site is especially popular with amateur astronomers, who find that its isolation from light pollution provides the perfect dark sky.

Ojibwa participated in many clandestine actions during her 34 years in service, her astonishing capacity for stealth making her a key player during the Cold War. Visitors can explore the submarine’s nooks and crannies, learn about her inner workings and hear the extraordinary stories from the submariners who lived them. West Lorne Santa Claus Parade 7pm. Santa's sleigh follows a parade of floats, horses and walkers adorned with brightly coloured lights and decorations. Santa will greet the children at the West Lorne arena. Free public skating until 9pm. Please join us for the activities.
