Elger Aragundi, su pintura y su foto-pintura Dra. Inés M. Flores Una abundante producción pictórica y fotográfica define el amplio campo donde se mueve con soltura y creatividad, este artista innovador, curioso e inquieto, que es Elger Aragundi. En permanente confrontación con los esquemas tradicionales, se aventura por ciertos caminos no hollados por otros artistas, y produce obras caracterizadas por una expresión muy personal.

En su primer libro-objeto, Azul, recoge una serie de pinturas derivadas de sus incansables búsquedas en los laberintos de las formas y el color, que revelan un irrenunciable afán de hallar nuevas formas de manifestar sus sentimientos, de sus anhelos e inclusive su percepción del mundo que le rodea.

En el libro aludido, y en su nuevo Libro Blanco, o Whites, ambos cuidadosa y elegantemente editados, el artista manifiesta una coherente articulación conceptual. En el primero despliega un amplio abanico simbólico, con una evidente carga espiritual y una gran destreza gestual de carácter lírico. Esto último se manifiesta también en el Libro Blanco, con ligeras pinceladas que complementan hábilmente las fotografías de sus páginas.

Porque este libro, el segundo, es más bien de fotografías con desnudos femeninos, como un nuevo compromiso estético del autor, que privilegia la figura de la mujer. Son hermosas tomas técnicamente bien realizadas ; fotos a las que como he dicho, se suma las sabias huellas del pincel, dando lugar a una suerte de obras mixtas: fotopintura.

De modo que Elger se está posicionando en el escenario de la plástica nacional e internacional , como un artista que se expresa con éxito, tanto con los pinceles como con la cámara fotográfica. Habrá que ver cual de los dos se impone en el futuro; o si él, inquieto como es, suma a su discurso artístico otros lenguajes.

Elger Aragundi, his painting and photo-painting An abundant pictorial and photographic production defines the extensive file where he moves with confidence and creativity, this innovative artist , curious and restless , which is Elger Aragundi. In permanent confrontation with the traditional schemes, venturing into certain paths untrodden by other artists, and producing works characterized by a very personal expression.

In his first book-object , AZUL , he includes a series of paintings derived from his tireless searches in the labyrinths of forms and color, revealing an unwavering desire to find new ways to express his feelings , desires and even his perception of the world around him. In this book , and in his new book Whites , both carefully and elegantly edited, the artist expresses a coherent conceptual articulation. In his first book he display a wide range with an evident spiritual burden and a knack of lyrical gesture also reflected in his second book Whites with slight brushstrokes that complement the photographies that skillfully its pages; because this book is about photography , nudes , as a new aesthetic compromise of the artist that privileges women figure. They are beautiful shots technically well done , and as I said , he adds the wise brush marks , resulting in a sort of mixed works: photo-painting.

Elger is positioning in the national and international art scene as an artist that successfully expresses, both with brushes and with camera . Will have to see which one prevails in the future, or if he curious as he is , adds to his artistic speech another languages.

В каждом образце его искусства – постоянный вызов традиционным схемам, неукротимый поиск авантюр там, где другие художники не проложили своих путей, поэтому его произведения ярко отражают индивидуальность личности этого мастера. В первой книге «Синева» («Azul») художник представил серию картин, ставших свидетельством его неустанного поиска в лабиринтах форм и цвета, его неукротимого стремления найти новые формы выражения с воих чувств и желаний, своего восприятия окружающего мира. Эта первая книга и его новая «Белая книга, или Белизна» («Libro Blanco, o Whites»), причем оба издания выполнены в тщательно продуманной и элегантной презентации, стали Манифестом мастера, с последовательностью воспроизводящего свою концепцию мира. В первом издании она представлена, как в раскрытом веере, широко и символично, с очевидной духовностью, мастерством штриха и глубокой лиричной нагрузкой. В «Белой книге» прослеживаются те же тенденции, с теми же легкими мазками, дающими художественное завершение смотрящим на нас со страниц фотографий. Потому что в этой, второй, книге в основном собраны фотографии обнаженных женщин, что стало проявлением новой эстетической приверженности автора, разделяющего с нами свое видение привиллегированной им красоты женского тела. Эти художественные снимки выполнены с высоким техническим мастерством, и, как я уже сказала, природная красота в них подчеркнута мудрыми следами кисти, в результате чего рождаются произведения смешанного искусства художественной фотографии. Таким образом Эльгер утверждается в своей позиции в национальном и международном сценарии изобразительного искусства как художник, с одинаковым успехом создающий свои произведения и кистью, и через объектив фотокамеры. Будущее покажет, какой из видов искусства найдет свое первенство в его работах, а может быть, этот беспокойный по натуре маэстро в своем художественном дискурсе откроет новый язык выразительности.
