Ski-Runs to Sea-Runs
Combining heli-skiing and fly fishing in one Icelandic adventure is a feat like only Eleven could pull off. Based at Deplar Farm on the Troll Peninsula, our Ski-to-Sea Experience will have you skiing velvety corn snow down 3,000-foot vertical runs, and fishing for sea-run brown trout in the legendary Huséyjarkvisl River. We’ve secured these rods for select dates only, so access is limited. Our guides will put you in the right place at the right time for each adventure, while our riverside Airstream base camp offers a place to change gear and have lunch in between. This experience brings together all of Eleven’s expertise to create a truly unparalleled adventure.

Deplar Farm was named one of the “Best Hotels in the World” on Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List. This former sheep farm blends naturally with the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the mountains and driftwood and stone from the Fljótaá River adorn the rooms. Two on-property helipads stand ready to take you up to the peaks or out to the river in minutes. At day’s end, relax in our indoor/outdoor geothermally heated pool or Viking sauna, take a dip in our cold plunge, and enjoy a chef-prepared Icelandic dinner.

› The lodge features 13 en suite guest rooms, including one king room with twin beds, a lofted lounge, balcony, sauna, and soaking tub; four king rooms with double sleeping lofts and balconies; five additional king rooms; two queen rooms; and one bunk room with four double beds and a double en suite bathroom.
› The property spans 28,000 square feet and includes a geothermally heated indoor/ outdoor pool with a bar; an indoor hot tub; a cold plunge; a premium spa facility featuring two i-sopod flotation tanks, three treatment rooms, a sauna, and a steam room; a gym and a yoga room; two helipads; a media room; and a bar lounge.
