A Capacity Campaign to Transform The League
A Capacity Campaign to Transform The League
Every day, individuals with disabilities face barriers that limit their independence, access, and opportunities. One in three people will experience a signi cant disability at some point in their lifetime, and those unique challenges can require specialized support. The League has been at the forefront of empowering individuals to live independently, o ering advocacy, essential services, and a commitment to inclusion for over 75 years.
The demand for our services has grown exponentially. Our facilities, once adequate, now limit our ability to meet these increasing needs. We are running out of space, struggling with outdated infrastructure, and facing accessibility challenges that contradict our mission. To truly serve our community, we must evolve. This is where you come in.
The League is launching a transformational $12.5 million Capacity Campaign to create a space that matches the power of our mission. This isn’t just about a building, though — it’s about unlocking potential, strengthening programs, and expanding access for individuals who rely on us.

The League has always been about people—and behind every number, there’s a story. Julia is one of them.
Faced with life-threatening health challenges, Julia feared losing her independence. But through The League’s Bene ts Enrollment Center, she found not only nancial relief but also the support, advocacy, and connections that helped her regain con dence. With resources in place, she has been able to maintain her home, improve her health, and even become a leader in advocating for disability rights.
