You should try street photography

Why starting to do it will change the way you see the world around you.

You don't need much to start street photography. Just you and your phone (so you don't have the excuse of having to buy a camera). First step: take what you need and leave the house. Are you asking me for a second step? Well, take a picture! Start looking around, don't just see. Start distinguishing the situations you want to catch in time. You will suddently realize how blind you were. Now, I'm not saying it's easy to become a great street photographer, but who says you can't try? The rules of photography shouldn't be followed, often there isn't time to do it and this is definitely to your advantage! A simple walk in the city slowly becomes a stage and the people wonderful actors. And I'm not kidding, you'll be able to photograph things you don't even imagine. Funny isn't it? They have always been under your nose but you have always ignored them. Because they were small. Because they didn't interest you. But it is worth giving

them a chance for redemption. they are small, yes, but no longer invisible. And with the right photo, they will be able to send very strong messages. Or not. The decision is up to you. You don't have to become a philosopher and look for some deep meaning. Sometimes life is pretty nice as it is. Like when you go to an exhibition you don't know anything about, but in the end the hanging works can leave you something. Well, it's that something you need to look for in your photos. You have to try to convey the same ensations you feel to those who look at them. And if you succeed, you will immediately realize it. On the other hand, a machine could never replace the eye of a human being. As a quality, perhaps, but not as a soul.

Font characteristics

The serif is wedged to give a classical look to the character, but unbracketed to combine contemporary characteristics

I created 3 different types of serifs for 3 inclinations, to compensate visual irregularities in the weight of the characters horizontal vertical diagonal

For the round letters I created an added piece after they were cut straight in the middle of an O

Different thickness between horizontal and vertical stems to give an elegant touch, diagonal lines are smaller than the vertical ones to compensate weight irregularities

The serifs are applied only on the bottom of a stem with the following criteria:

Vertical stems on every vertical stem, or on the right one if the character has more than 1 (see m,n and so on)

Exceptions if a letter has an horizontal part going over the place in which the serif should be (see F,t and so on)

Diagonal stems on every diagonal stem that touches the baseline, on the right one if the character has 2 stems (see R ,x)

Note the serif is always applied perpendicular to the angle of the stem, so you can notice different inclinations

Horizontal stems on every horizontal stem, at a 90 degree angle

Exceptions

serifs aren’t applied on stems that end in a horizontal way, like c or e to avoid a closed counter

Vertical stress on circular letters to simulate the contrast of the straight characters
