Master thesis MaUSP_EMU
Starting from the current productive landscape and its metamorphoses, this thesis investigates Megalopolis territorial transformation under the overlap of different dynamics through time. In the case of Megalopolis, the radical alternations of the topography, the material movements and the natural water flows come together with the slow rhythm of the provincial city and the countryside. Looking through the lenses of Cyclic Urbanism, the design proposal investigates the potential linkages of the systems of energy, soil and water, exploring the future territorial figures of the post-mining era.
