Actress and influencer Elena Uhlig about her new sustainable collection "fra)uu(hlig" with ELEMENTE CLEMENTE

ELENA UHLIG, AFTER THE LAUNCH IN SUMMER THERE IS NOW YOUR NEW COLLECTION "FRA) UU(HLIG" WITH ELEMENTE CLEMENTE. HOW IMPORTANT IS SUSTAINABILITY TO YOU IN YOUR FASHION?

Very important. I have four children, and I think they should have something of this world for longer. I first really got involved with sustainable fashion through Elemente Clemente. Like many people, I didn't know what exactly it meant as a layperson. It's easy to think that if it says silk on the label, it's sustainable and a natural fabric, which is not valid.

That's what I'm learning now through Elemente Clemente, which material is really organic and still falls well. Clemens Dörr from Elemente Clemente helped me to realize my dream and my concern: I wanted fair and sustainably produced fashion that was casual and not boring. As an actress, I know how you change with and through fashion. Therefore, all my pieces can be combined with others to create new looks. But you don't need something new all the time.

YOUR NEW COLLECTION PIECES HAVE NAMES LIKE TINA, SARA, FRIDA, ELLI AND UNBESCHREIBL(ICH). WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?

The double-sided printed scarf "Tina" is named after the designer who created the print. She is a friend. It shows a predator in orange tones on the front, fish in water tones on the bac kand fringes in wool on edge.

My family likes to fish, and I'm a zodiac sign Leo.

The casual hoodie "Sara" was inspired by my nanny,

I see her in hoodies all the time. The "Frida" walking trousers are named after my daughter, who loves to wear trousers. I really wanted a comfortable pair of wide trousers that you can't go jogging in, but that you can wear for everything else: lounging on the sofa, stretching, traveling or going out. "Frida" is airy in the summer, and if you want to do yoga in them, you can put on the "Elli" cuffs and have warm ankles. With the cuffs, they become Aladdin trousers and are dressy. I also go out in them. I used to be called "Elli". I love cuffs; they are for arms as well as legs. And the "Unbeschreibl(ich)" T-shirt is a statement, of course.

WHAT MAKES YOUR FASHION SO UNIQUE?

It was important to me to design a collection of comfortable fashion that everyone can wear. Because from size 40 onwards, we all have a different figure - some have more of a pear shape; some have more on top and others more congestion in the middle ring. And I wanted a particular pep that everyone dares to wear.

Sehr wichtig. Ich habe vier Kinder, und finde, dass sie noch länger etwas von dieser Welt haben sollten. Ich habe mich durch Elemente Clemente erst richtig mit nachhaltiger Mode befasst. Wie viele Leute wusste ich als Laie nicht, was genau das bedeutet. Man denkt leicht, wenn da Seide im Etikett steht, ist das nachhaltig und ein Naturstoff, was so nicht stimmt. Das lerne ich jetzt durch Elemente Clemente, welcher Stoff wirklich Bio ist und trotzdem gut fällt. Clemens Dörr von

und nachhaltig produzierte Mode, die lässig und nicht langweilig ist. Als Schauspielerin weiß ich, wie man sich mit und durch Mode verändert. Daher kann man alle meine Teile mit anderen zu neuen Looks kombinieren. Aber man braucht nicht ständig etwas Neues.

IHRE NEUEN KOLLEKTIONSTEILE TRAGEN DIE NAMEN TINA, SARA, FRIDA, ELLI UND UNBESCHREIBL(ICH). WOHER STAMMEN SIE?

Das doppelseitig bedruckte Tuch „Tina“ heißt nach der Designerin, die den Druck entworfen hat. Sie ist eine Freundin. Es zeigt vorne ein Raubtier in Orangetönen, hinten Fische in Wassertönen, am Rand Fransen in Wolle. Meine Familie fischt gerne, und ich bin

Sternzeichen Löwe. Zu dem lässigen Hoodie „Sara“ hat mich meine Kinderfrau inspiriert, ich sehe sie ständig in Hoodies. Die Spaziererhose „Frida“ ist nach meiner Tochter benannt, die wahnsinnig gerne

Hosen trägt. Ich wollte unbedingt eine bequeme weite Hose, mit der man auf gar keinen Fall joggen, dafür aber alles andere machen kann: auf dem Sofa lümmeln, stretching, verreisen oder ausgehen. „Frida“ ist im Sommer weit und luftig, und wenn man Yoga darin machen möchte, zieht man die Stulpen „Elli“ dazu an und hat warme Knöchel. Sie wird mit den Stulpen zur Aladin-Hose und ist salonfähig. Ich gehe darin auch aus. „Elli“ hat man mich früher genannt. Ich liebe Stulpen, sie sind sowohl für Arme wie für Beine. Und das T-Shirt „Unbeschreibl(ich)“ ist natürlich ein Statement.

WAS MACHT IHRE MODE SO EINZIGARTIG?
